How can I get rid of a windows border so that it will look like a splash screen, or how windows media player gets rid of the bar at top?

in your project settings, set the display mode to fullscreen.

assuming you're using the default IDE it's here...

Or if you dont want it full screen...

Use the SET WINDOW LAYOUT command, filling in the necassary params (look it up in the index).
