I have just brought Twilight Princess I have been trying to catch a fish for hours I dangle the hook In front of the fish and nothing happens I read that a fish on sign is meant to appear but nothing I am starting to think its a fault has anyone else come across this problem. I hear there is also a game cube version coming is this true and if so that means it won’t have the wii remote fishing bit?

Cast out your line, watch it until the bob get's dragged under the water, then jerk the wiimode back and wind it in with the nunchuck.

No. When a fish bites, you'll see the bob go down, pull the remote back, and it should say fish on, then all you have to do is keep the remote back until you get the fish.

I found it a rather hit and miss affair. Keep doing what the others suggest and you'll eventually hook one (or two, in this case).

If the controller isn't used for a while, it automatically turns off to save battery, although usually then it brings a message back on-screen to tell you.

you could try and open the battery thing and press sync, then do it on your wii.

Wait, i forgot wether you press it on your wii first or your remote, i'm sure its wii first...

There are some reports that the wiimote just stops responding randomly, someone on gamespot said it just stopped working with his SMB no matter what he did.
