Hello everyone...
I am in college now and I have fried my mother board and my power supply. I have been asking around the net for a few days but no one has helped me yet. I know you guys will pull through for me. I was looking online for another motherboard and the old model that I had is now outdated and is not carried by anyone anymore...as far as I know. My old motherboard was an ASUS P4R800VM and I have been looking at some that I am not sure if I can switchout motherboards without having any trouble with the rest of the components that I have already... as in, I won't have to add anything extra or take anything away from what I already have besides a motherboard and a power supply. I want to know if anyone of you know of a motherboard that is equal or better than an ASUS P4R800VM...I was looking at these:

Thank you in advance for your help and support.

p.s. Is it possible to backup the data on my harddrive without a motherboard...like could I take it somewhere and they back up my data for me?

In regards to the HD, just take it out and plug it into another computer as a slave, then copy n paste what you need. Always handy to have a spare computer!

Have you tried Yahoo Answers, its pretty good, and free.

How does it taste? Seriously though, I'm sorry to hear that. How did it happen?
