Whenever I load one of the skyboxes supplied in DarkMatter, I can never get it big enough to cover the matrix I've created. Not only that, I can't get it exactly over the matrix - there's always seems to be a bit of black between the matrix edge and the start of the skybox.

Can anyone help me?

You don't ususally make a skybox as big as the world it's covering. You make it slightly smaller than the camera range, and move it with the camera so that it is always centred, and you never reach it.

The skybox will also drop below ground level, solving the problem of fitting it exactly. The edge of your world needs to be designed to fix any remaining problems. For example, your user shouldn't see the straight edge of a matrix, disguise it with buildings, hills, popcorn or whatever is appropriate.

As well as what BatVink says, remember that you also have the Scale Object command to make the box bigger if you need to.

Thanks for all your help, guys!

The tutorial was fantastic, Kieran, but I couldn't quite get my head round the code for the camera position. Can you modify it so that the camera isn't quite so close to the blob character?
