It is an start of an 3rd persion game. In this demo there are the following:

1. slide collision
2. an ramp ( very simple code )
3. Mult-level.
4. bullet collision
5. sounds
6. Very simple graphics.
7. 20 badies on the screen.
with slide collsion.
and collision with each other.

I did try 3d models for the badies i found out it is to slow.
How can i make it better?

I haven´t tried it yet, but I have some suggestions if you want to make the game faster.
It looks like you´re using collisions a lot and from what I understand you use DBC´s built-in collision system, right?
Instead download sparky´s dll for DBC. If you find it hard to learn have a look at the examples and experiment with the code. There´s also a very good FPS by lokidecat(or something like that).

Or

If you don´t want to use dll´s and if it doesn´t matter if the collisions aren´t polygon-perfect, skip all the collision commands and let the program check positions of all the bullets, baddies, walls and players.

If you haven't tried it yet, then how do you know how his collision is?

zzz... I did not use the build in collision system in dbc. I found out it is to slow so i used some custom made collision system. I would download sparky´s dll but i can not use dlls in version 1.08. you need version 1.13. I have tryed updating but it does not work.

Here is to code it you want an look. It is an bit messy. I have just started an new version i will finished it in an day or two.

Here is the new version with code. Still need an bit of work with the code that handles the ramps. I should use Triganometry to get the height. But i did not have time last night.

The level data is in the text files.

me..i have it looks pretty good so far....you should add ammo and a set limit to the number of baddies that pop up.

I would add the ammo but i need to find some weapon models and models for the player but i only have the basic ones. the game is going to be like Resident Evil the film. I could take me about the next 4 weeks just working makeing the map.

The game is going to be open source.
