Hi. Only 8 years late I've made a Matrix screensaver. Hee hee. Well, it was fun and only took a couple of days.

One effect I'd like to have is the occastional "lead" character in the rain to glow green/white.

Is there a simple method of putting a light circle on the screen, one with a quite-bright value in the middle, getting dimmer to the edge of the radius?

cheers!!

sprites. Set alpha blending on a "Gradient-Circle" type of a sprite, and you will achieve your lighting effect. Probably not the kind you were thinking of, but still usefull, because you can change the shape and what-not of the sprite (Image actually) and fit it on the character or whatever.

GameDeveloper, make your own games with a drag-and-drop interface. Basically t3dgm+fpsc editor combined.
