So Dark lights is a lightmapper right. So if I went ahead and lightmapped my level then added Dark Physics objects in the level could I add hardware lights in the level so my Dark Physics objects will cast shadows without messing up my lightmap? I guess the same to player objects too that I want to cast shadows

I download the Demo IDE of the Lightmapper tool. I then setup hardware light in my test game and set up some dark physics objects and everthing seems to be find.

I did not want to start another thread about Dark lights so I am going to put it here. So, can Dark Lights render a lightmap for an advance terrain object?

I just found some help files for advance terrain. And you can save the terrain in the .dbo file format so I guess you can. So if you save it as a .dbo file do you still get the performance out of it? After the save can you use the advance terrain commands

Advanced terrains are objects anyway regardless of whether you save and reload them or not. I see no reason why you can't lightmap them.
