Hey guys I just upgraded to winxp pro and I formated my drive. I have a geforce 7800gs with 512mb on it. I reapplyed the most recent drivers and now I can't open movies in WMP(windows media player). It will start to open then just crash pretty much stalling out. I can close it after about 5 minutes of it freezing. This has happened to me once before I think its a driver issue. It happened with my old 6600gt and I got older drivers and was fine but I can't seem to find anything that works now.. any help would be greatly appreciated.

May be something to do with the codecs you have installed. Always make sure you have DivX installed!

No dice, I also tried installing VLC player at it plays sound, but then crashes, I really think its a driver problem of some sort.
