Have you tried reinstalling your graphics card drivers?

90% of the time its something thats been installed recently.
Another game might have installed an older version of direct x.

Regardless.

Re install the game
Check Direct X for latest version
Check Video Card drivers for possible corruption, and re install.
Check for problem again.

Sounds like a connection issue to the game itself if you can log on etc..
If not, did you change any settings with your router recently?
Did you adjust your network layout by chance?

Re installing the game might solve it.

Im not sure why you would need to make a post without attempting these issues first, saving us all a lot of time with something thats not really TGC related. Take that hunch you have and attempt to rectify it with the possible solutions given to you above.

I had problems recently. It wouldn't let me connect at all. After 3 days of trying everything I could think of I just threw up my hands and reformated. WOW is worth the trouble of reformating... man I got it bad.

Do what Indi suggested before you get desperate like I was.

Thats not the point, when I still have a 256mb GeForce FX5500, it wouldn't run oblivion, until I got the latest drivers. Thats how much of an effect it can have.

If you really think its that bad, just get a new graphics card. If that doesn't work, well...

Try running it with the side of the case off - might be over heating. Also check for dust clogging any fans.

Yeah it sounds like it's the video card dieing... get a new one before you can't see anything at all.
