FPSC Classic Scripts / access code for door

I found a script that allows you to enter a code to open a door,but it does not work.......here is the code



it says(in my fpi maker) that line 18 - 21 has syntax errors unkown conditional: scancodekeypressed

any suggestions?

it still works, fpi maker hasn't been updated to include all of those new commands.

I didn't think of that, but I did go ahead and used it and I was not able to get it to work.I tried every combination that I could think of, with the switch and the door.

I think you have to use the number keys to the side of your keyboard not the ones above the letters...

I know.....but when I walk to the switch it does nothing.It does not say enter access code.

I figured out that I needed to create a .tga to display " enter access code. but now as far as entering access code what now?
I see that scancodekeypressed = 79
= 80
= 81
= 75
I'm guessing that it means 1234. am I right?
what do I do from here?

Someone changed the script you posted in your initial post. The keycodes should be 79,80,81,and 75 which relates to 1,2,3 and 4 on the keypad, not the main keyboard. Pressing 1,2,3 and 4 on the main keyboard will just change your weapons.

Of course you can change the access code to whatever you want by simply changing the keycode value in the script.

that was it. that and creating the display.
yeah that someone was me. I didn't realize that it used different numbers to represent other numbers.
