I've started a new fps game called Smoking Gun. I don't really have a
story line or much done. I've only just started the Ai for it. Right
now for enemies I only have spheres with basic collision and chasing.
Eventually after you kill the spheres though they fade away. Here are a few screenies of the game. [img][/img]

and another

thats it it wouldn't let me upload my video to photo bucket for some reason

Looking pretty good. I like the grass texture but I notice the diamond effect on the hillside. you might want to tweak that texture a little.

Whats your framerate like? the mid to upper 50's.

Making nothing for the third straight year.

Usually without a limiting the sync rate I get high 70s mid 80s. In those pics I had it limited to the sync rate to 60. I also noticed the
diamond effect but theres nothing I can really do about it its an imported terrain from 3d world studio so its just like that. Thanks for the feedback though I'll try to fix that texture problem and a few
other glitches in the system later.

it looks like it is going pretty good...i see you are using T.ED for the terrain because of the tectures....you should use ones other than the textures that come with it..

HTF I am using just plain DBP with Sparky's collision dll and thats it. Like I said earlier I am using 3d world studios terrain development engine to make the levels. To tell the truth I have barely started on the real enemies in 3ds max, so I havenst really started on the AI either because I don't want to have to recode any of the collision and ai functions because It will take me too long( I'm kinda new to programming ). I'll try to upload a good video but fraps
is killing my Frame rate.

Here are a few new screen shots haven't finished the enemies yet and might never(I'm not good at modeling). I have added a main menu with a video playing in the background. Also I have added bump mapping shaders to the gun. Anyway heres an image of the menu.

And one of gameplay

And one more

thats it for right now

Looks nice. The only thing I could suggest so far is to darken the ground. It seems very bright compared the the sky.
