I played BF2 for all of 30 minutes before uninstalling it, boxing it up and selling it to a buddy's friend at a loss of 10$. I went back to playing Desert Combat mod, which is much better.
I also did the same thing with Never Winter Nights 2, however it only lasted 5 minutes (not including installation and patching time). I gave up on the game when the default scenario had my half orc adopted by an elf? and my second task was to enter a dance competition. I later heard from my friend that there's a certain part of the game that's horribly broken and he can't proceed beyond it to finnish the game. The graphics are pretty bad for the characters. They're nowhere near as good as oblivion. I was seriously dissapointed in this system resource pig.
I'll never ride a bandwaggon ever again. I learned my lesson... Pirate from P2P networks first...Play for a month...Then buy. I'm tired of getting dry humped by the likes of EA. Also, by the time I get around to buying it, there have been a few patches and the price has usually dropped 30-40%. In the end, I win.
