Finally got MSN. (I used the one on my computer to try and install it, but it kept on asking me to pay $9.95 a month for it, so I downloaded it, and it stopped asking, and it now works (There's more to the story)).

Anyways, I was wondering if anybody would like to be on my contact list, and socialize with me (As I dont know anyone who would really likes computers, besides the developers of GameDeveloper+The Twilight Engine).

I'm about to update my profile to show the MSN thingy.

i never really lied msn messenger. its like your really into a game and about to win it after trying for three years and "dom dom dom", you have to engage some one you hardly know in 30 minute conversation on random trivia.

Well that's good for being honest, :p.

and how can you not like msn messenger? assuming you are saying they are all bad google talk/aim/yim/icq etc, how else do you talk to people around the world?

[edit] unless you mean by post, but telling someone in america which server you are joining doesn't help much as by the time they receive it you will have forgotten .

You can turn it off

@Phaelax
You can hear more to my story about obtaining MSN if you like. I made this thread to ask if anyone would like to become my "MSN Buddy" and to socialize.

That's why I have msn sign me in as offline, and I block the people who talk to me often. Then I don't have to put up with them until I'm ready

wasn't talking to you gillypiehole.

if people want to socialize, they'll just click the little msn button under your name.

The biggest problem I have with msn is the buddy names. Allowing users to change their name any time and to any length is just annoying.

I really think ICQ was the best, back in the day years before AOL bought it. It was the primary chat client at the time, but more and more ppl started using AIM and left me no choice but to switch. But if you've ever looked at the protocol for each, I think AIM's is the best. Google just uses jabber doesn't it?

I guess depending what country you're in, there are different mainstream clients used. AIM is the most common for Americans, while MSN pretty much dominates Europe and Australia.

Oh. Well... I just thought it would be much easier this way then asking a bunch of random, trustworthy people, for to be MSN buddies out of the blue, y'know?

I figured those who would like to, would add me

Phaelax, I wondered why too, but a negative post like yours wasn't really necessary. It's quite obvious if you think about it though. He wanted to talk with people and add to his buddy list, and even though you can click the button at the bottom of someone's post, no one usually does unless you have a reason! In this case it is just to chat.
