I've just programmed this very simple texture convertor using Dark Basic Pro. It's very basic but it does the job. It can convert .bmp .jpg .png .dds and .tga both ways. I've included a readme file with instructions. I've made this so people can edit the .dds files in FPSC.

use the entity maker from fpscreator.com download section or copy the original character and the associated files (the bmp, .dds, .fpe, and of course the.x file) then rename your new .dds to the name of the old .dds and replace the old with the new... hope this helps

thx again "Opposing force" you ROCK

It doesn't work. I need Direct X 9.0 December 2005.

It is not PODDS,PODDS was built to make .dds only.not anything else.(However this is as simple as hell to make.)

The code i posted above is very simple indeed.but it does what it is made for.I am sorry if it took you longer then 10 seconds Opposing Force, but im quite experienced with DBP so i can do this fast.

The source code is something along the lines of that Prince Of Darkness. I know it took very little time to make but I made it so that people without Dark Basic Pro could convert their textures to any format. If I had enough time I would add in a nice looking GUI and export directories etc, but at least it does the job.

smith, it was compiled with the latest version of Dark Basic Pro. Just download Direct x from the microsoft website.

Benjamin A, thanks, thats all I intended it to be
