.com domains cost...
you can get free .tk (dot.tk), or .co.nr (freedomain.co.nr)
or if you have a website set up i can give you a 'yourname'.darkbasicgames.com domain for free

If you can use HTML you should use freewebs then give your site a .co.nr or .tk domain name, I prefer .co.nr because there are no annoying forced adverts apart from a tiny link back.

But if you can't use HTML then don't use freewebs because the site builder option gives you less freedom and above all forces you to have a lame freewebs toolbar at the top of the page

edit: Oh and by the way, when you have set up a site you may want to join the TGC webring that we are setting up (It should help your site get more promotion and visitors), you can see the thread in:

You can't get .com for free, but you can get it for very cheap.

Visit Godaddy and register your domain for only $8/year.
And get some very inexpensive web hosting from
SpidaHost, a mere $1 a month. (don't mind the website's design, its changing very soon)

So $20 a year can get you a hosted, personal domain.

My friend used to run a website called botsrus that gave cheap domains, but he went out of business when paypal realized he used his mom's credit card to setup his paypal account. He had over $6000 in there too.
