Hello everyone again,

I just thought of another question I wanted to ask everyone. Two more questions actually.

First of all, my knowledge of programming theory, like how it works, concepts things like that is relatively good. Anytime I learn a new language it's basically just learning the differences in syntax and maybe some new things here and there. With that in mind, I got to thinking about my questions.

1) Is Dark GDK better than DarkBASIC, like is it faster, can handle better graphics? So on, so forth? Like what are the important differences between the two?

2) If I were to decide to go with Dark GDK, would I be able to find sufficient support for it? To where I could sit down, read, and learn the thing without having to read poorly written stuff that doesn't explain what things are doing and just kind of gives you the code and briefly explains what it does? Or would I have to really hunt and ask a lot of question to get information on it? Or would I be able to just sit down and read the stuff that comes with it and learn it no problem?

Once again, thank you all for your time and answers. I value them greatly.

I don't know much about DGDK but I looked around and found a few things that might help.

1)Dark GDK is faster then DarkBASIC. That is what it says on the site at least. The main difference is that Dark GDK uses C++ programming while DarkBasic uses a form a BASIC(I think) You should check here http://darkgdk.thegamecreators.com/and here http://darkgdk.thegamecreators.com/?f=darksdkvsdbpro for more inforation

2)there are not nearly as many users for Dark GDK as there are for DarkBASIC but there should still be good support for it but you should probably try posting on the Dark GDK board found herehttp://forum.thegamecreators.com/?m=forum_read&i=22

I have never used Dark GDK so I don't know how easy it is to learn or use.
