A bit short notice but some of you geeks maybe interested to know that the Microsoft Vista launch roadshow will be at Bolton University tomorrow.

They are gona talk about the challenges involved with replacing XP with Vista and Office 2007 and .Net v3.0... oh and most important thing.. its free

Bolton is only 20-35 miles from me (unless the UK has more than one bolton?), but Iam not going any way. No one to go with and I dont think its my thing either.

Interesting venue - a University. Being a local school governor, I've seen documents that say that Academic institutes should delay the implementation of Vista as it doesn't contain any features that are of additional benefit. I wonder if that point will crop up at all!

Just to make the location 100% clear, It's Bolton Lancashire / Greater Manchester

Yeah, I only ever replace my Windows systems after they are about 2 service packs into the new one.
