I wouldnt normally pimp a show ive seen but Oh my god!.
I was given 2 free tickets, as i know someone from the theatre industry in the lighting dept.

If this comes to your country after it rolls around Australia, I highly recommend it.

20 - 30 foot high anima-tronic creatures walking around in front of you with amazing sounds and a cool light show. Apparently it was part of the team that worked on the latter star wars features here at fox studios. Australian made, it took 3 puppeteers for each dinosaur.

Anyway here is the website with two videos to get what i mean.

as usual the TREX was the best, but i really liked the ankilosaurus

Yeah, I remember seeing something on TV a little while back about this.

They were testing out a new Triceretops or something. Had one guy (the host of the documentary) doing the sounds, one guy controlling the face and head, and another controlling the body and tail (IIRC).

I thought it looked good out in the open in a giant wooden enclosure, but with the sexy lights and what-not, and on stage with everything coordinated, it looks bloody fantastic!
