I switched a 6800XT into a machine with a 7600GT, because the 7600 was needed elsewhere. Then I booted, restarted. Thought it was a driver issue, uninstall driver and reinstall, still does it. I have tried it in safemode (reinstalling drivers), but no avail. I dont get it... anyone have any suggestions? (The machine I switched the 7600 works fine)....

Hmm it turns out the 6800 had a higher PS requirement than the 7600, so I had to switch back. Oh well.

Excuse me for asking, but you did connect the extra power connection?

Yes, it just turned out that the 6800 actually had a higher ps requirement. Guess it serves me right for wanting to maximize work potential.
