If searched and haven't really found anything on-point to the way I want to use a timer.

Can a player be given a time limit to win? If so, how?

Can characters be spawned after a certain amount of time.
(ie. Robbing a bank, gards come after 2 minutes.)

Thanks for any help/recommendations.

Still looking for a little help.
Oddly enough, the manual has no reference to timers.
The tips'n tricks uses them, but I can't relate their examples to running a timer for the whole game.

::followplr
:state=0:timerstart,state=1
:state=1,timergreater=120000:plraddhealth=-1000,state=0

That, might work... (not sure if it is timergreater or timergreaterthen or other combination) what it does is remove 1000 health after 2 min and reset for the respawn. Followplr keeps it running asequinious to the internal clock or whatever.
