500? Isn't that a bit much, you did know that I am starting a massive cult that will brainwash every human on the planet and then commit mass suicide, simple.

Quote: "Nah evolution is a load of crap there are sooo many things that disprove the theory its unreal. I doubt we will be here 2billion years from now but that wont be due to evolution nor extinction. I wont get into any philosophical arguments but that is my point of view."

Please don't call someone's theory crap, yes they're all theories, you are entitled to disagree, but avoid from saying it's crap, you may find people who think the theory makes absolute sense and is offended by the fact you just carelessly called it crap, equally someone would be offended if I said Creationism is crap, but I won't be it isn't crap, I just don't agree with it. If you want philosophical arguments look out for my new site when it is complete:

Quote: "Interesting Fact: If Jupiter were much larger, the weight on itself would cause the fusion process, and it would become a star, though a pretty pathetic one."

That is quite interesting, didn't know that one, I like finding out new interesting things, hence I watch a lot of documentaries, although I could read a bit more on these things though

Your sig IS cars driving down a highway. What do you mean you didn't put it there? Or did a joke just go completely over my head cause it's 4 am?

You can sign up at your local Walmart, just tell them 'Bob' sent you and they'll know what to do.

Which is why there are very large complex equations that prove it?

Just leave it already You can't just go on talking about evolution, then tell mammie when somebody has a different opinion because of the AUP. If it's not ok to talk about religion, then it's not ok to bring up evolution either. Let that die. And yes, you've said you disagree with Creationism about 50 times this past year. We know

I believe it was 57, and you call yourself a mathematician?

I've left it where I posted, I was just saying to avoid calling something crap, in case you offend someone. I don't think Creationism is crap, neither do I believe in it, actually I'm agnostic when it comes to the origin of the universe.

I'm not discussion religion, just saying, its a good idea to avoid using the word crap over something people do feel strongly about, as opposed to saying you disagree with it (As crap and disagree are two completely different words, crap is quite negative). Heck, I redirected him to somewhere where people can discuss it, even if I quite cheekily used it to advertise my own website.

Why anybody would want to believe their related to the monkeys at the zoo that throw their feces is beyond me. I want to stay clear of most of my relatives not proudly announce their related to me.

Some of you guys really amaze me. It's been said countless times that discussing religion or lack thereof is against the AUP, as its not a suitable discussion for this board, yet you still decide to spout off about it. Now I would love to have a religious discussion as much as the next guy, but the fact remains is that this isn't a place for that and you've agreed not to speak of it when you signed up to these forums. Just leave it!

Maybe we decended from apes that were created by a greater power
-OR-
Maybe some of us were created by a greater power and some of us were decended from apes. That would explain a few things.

...and evolution does exist. Take this thread for example. It started as a discussion about the sun and is EVOLVING into a lock.

3.7 Debate about religious belief or any tangent of religion
3.8 Debate about any form of pro or anti government sentiments, irrespective of which government
3.9 Debate about any form of creationist / evolutionary theories
3.10 Debate about abortion
