what kind of AI? what type of game? you must be a lot more specific.

If you need help with AI then why not trying Dark AI, but as Phaelax said, you need to be more specicific about what you need to do and also the version of Dark Basic you use (Dark AI is an add on for DBP, not DBC)

i am trying to make a fps game
where the bad guys go around and shoot at you
and there are some models i have for citey pepole
i want to have neutral hostel and friendly pepole
oh and i cant get dark ai right now .

and i am using dbpro.

Sure let me just type out a few hundred lines controlling the AI for you .

My point is AI isn't something we can just "help" you with. You just have to think how to simulate AI with the computer. It's all about conditions and effects. If condition = true, then event=true.

xenocythe made a REALLY REALLY REALLY good example that shows how to do fps ai. I learned so much about making ai for all kinds of games just by looking at his code.. i dont remember the link though..
