FPSC Classic Scripts / Applying a medi pack script to any entity?

I was just curious to see if it was possible to script any entity to work like a medi pack
I ask this because i was hoping to use the MGS3 idea of eating animals to recover health, such as snakes and frogs. And i wanted to know if the script could be applied to a model of one of those so they can be picked up and used to regain health

I'm not sure how you would eat an animal. I suppose you could make it a pickup item. I don't see why you couldn't apply the health scripts to any entity. Just try it. Can't hurt. (pun!)

so i would just use an animal entity and apply the medi pack pickup script to it?

Use a normal (one of the many provided or custom) script for its main.
But you would have to modify its destroy script so as to leave the corpse behind. And when the player is within a certain distance (50 units) of it, then maybe 50 health gets added to the player's health.
