um...they're not that good. the textures could use improving plus try adding a shader effect to the front of it to give it a little reflection on the bottle.

I will look into this pack for any of my stuff.as i see you used my Tomb packs ground in the screenshot and the packs wall.

EDIT:

i have found this pack contains 5 items.they could use a better texture(im not so good either,so i cant complain so hard)and none of the Tomb Packs ones are included.

also,no other work of others is included as ive seen.

My arrival shocked some people maybe...but i dont seem to care anyway...behold my mights!

Go back to the drawing board man. clean up the textures. don't settle for anything less than perfection. The wood texture is badly contorted, and th ball seams to be a giant bouncy ball. the bottle/health bottles look a bit empty. try to add some depth to the texture. use the noise function of your photo editor program. also try using the cloud and motion blur features as well. they just give off that crayon color job feel.

Thanks for contributing though. Keep it up and you'll get better!

RF do you use paint shop pro 9? you could help me a bit more...

EDIT: Btw the ball should look more like a beach ball... thats what it is supposed to be at least.

I've seen better models. Heck, I've MADE better models myself. No offence. You should try and make something more intresting, because I see some potential in your work. How about a partially eaten chocolate bar with some wrapping left on one end? That'd be intresting. And quite useful.

uv map is a piece of data within the file telling the model the proportions of which points are where on a scaled image being the texture.

@ Roger Wilco

I dont know how i could texture that. Im so bad at making multiple objects (like candy rapper and chocolate) onto the same texture

i really should just post a tut for this, i post the same stuff so many times!!!!

go to http://www.uvmapper.com/ and download UV mapper CLASSIC, then save your model as a .obj file and open it in UV mapper classic. Then go to edit-> new UV map-> box, then go to edit-> tile-> by group and then resize and move parts of the map until until it covers most of the area. after you've done this go to file-> save model and save the model, and then go to file-> save texture map save it as 1024 by 1024, open it in whatever graphic editor you use and get texturing, but save as a JPG, TGA or DDS (if you can) file not a BMP. you should UV map before animating you're model as UV mapper classic doesnt export animations.

Quote: "yeah dont post models that stink. Master things like fpi scripting and getting a good feel for fps creator before you move on to the ever impossible feat of modelling."

thats a louzy lesson. Ive done all that except mastered fpi scripting which i dont even need to know atm! and you are basically saying my modells suck and dont post any free things on the forum. Nice compliment, You diddnt have any constructiveness on WHY my modells stink. Furthermore do YOU even know how to model? And modelling isnt impossible.

aarong, i find what you said insulting, i model (im not the best) and i have *no* idea about scripting, in all truth scripting is HARDER than modelling, and alot less fun, although supah gamers models arent the best on the forum, at least he's stepping up and posting them for >constructive< criticism, i dont see you doing that.

go to http://www.pixel2life.com/ and look for what program you use for texturing, thats where i learnt all my texturing skills, they're not great but better than ones which are too "perfect" and as i said before, always UV map models, it helps the texture look less streched.

I dont have any an8 files because i exported them without the files. but you can open .3ds with anim8or. (i bet this clearly shows that i diddnt take long to make the modells)

Nice job SG,

Keep modeling.
Texturing takes time (lots of time for people like me), bot don't give up because of negative responses.
I agree with you that negative criticism is ok if it is constructive.
My first free models that I offered suffered comments about how I shouldn't offer them.
I got pissed and stop giving things away for free.
Don't let it get to you, because there are some people who appreciate you generosity.

Cheers

DUDE?

What the heck is with that pic you're using?

It looks like you are wearing lipstick.
I thought it was a girl with her hair up under her hat.

Sorry, I meant no offense, just confused is all.
