Hmmm... It wont work for me? Not the game, but the download, it downloads in seconds then the archive wont open because it says it is incomplete. Must be a problem with the website.
Oh well, I'l have to wait for my copy to be delivered.
Great screenie by the way! Any chance of another?

Does this have to be installed over X9 (as in upgrade) or you can install it direct?

It instaled to the same folder & left FPS creator 9 intact.

Ok.

I have a Nvidia GeForce 8600 GT with 256 MB.

I got a frame rate ranging between 14 - 37 FPS in that level. I tried turning down some of the features in the setup file but I still get bad frame rate.

This is a laptop by the way. It also says I can have "Up to 1024 MB". Does anyone know how I can go about doing getting that 1024 MB because 256 isn't really that good?

you buy it first, easy stuff,
then you have to go about finding its slot in space, it may be under neath, or it could be under the keys, you usually have to unscrew something tho

I'll probably just get FPSCX10 for the sake of it. I mean, it's slow but a good sort of slow (since FPSX10 is timer based) so it isn't slow but it has low frame rate.

At least it works so that makes me happy . I could still make games and X10 media for people. I'm a bit angry about most of the media being from X9 but oh well.

If you have a Turbo Cache type video card, you can adjust it to use part of your system RAM memory. This is normally accomplished in one of two ways, depending on the unit.

1. Enter the system setup (BIOS) on boot-up and make the adjustment there.

2. Go to the advanced settings on the video adapter in video settings and set it there.

Best.

xplosys, I just went into my BIOS and I wasn't able to change anything. It showed my video RAM as 256MB but when I used the arrow keys to go down to change it, it just jumped to the next erm, things.

I can't find the option to do it via video settings either.

If there was no way to change the settings in the BIOS (make sure you know how to change settings in the BIOS... it's usually spelled out at the bottom of the screen which keys to press) then it's fixed and you cannot increase it.

Best.
