Just put a light marker under another light marker. Change the radius' of the two markers if need be until you're satisfied with the result.

Also; using darker colored lights, and tweaking your overall level ambiance helps to get the desired affect. Other than the tutorial you've pointed out, I don't know of any currently. Proper/realistic lighting is an art unto itself; would be nice to have somewhere to point people.

ok, so in that when he refers to "Bounce lights"
and shows a diagram with ordinary lights and bounce lights they are the same?

IE. both are just static lights of the same color just spaced apart?
I thought maybe there was a bit more too it as the screenshots seem to display much "smoother" looking light (doesnt apear to show the individual light points as I thought multiple lights arranged like that would).

Quote: "ordinary lights and bounce light"

It fakes it, bounce lighting has not been implented into to the engine whatsoever (requires different rendering system anyway), altought with the creativity of the members it is possible to achieve alot, like this but it doesnt fake it all the way. To succesfully recreate bounce light you would need smaller lights (range of 10-30) bouncing off the wall where the main source is directed too (or in this case: bouncing off the wall that is within range of the light).

Basicaly sort of radiosity.

I would be curious to see this tut on light bounce faking. Sounds like something i would not mind learning how to do.

I went to take a look at it and it's down
oh well, I guess there are a few out there, arent there? on the subject of light bouncing, I wonder how hard it would be to make a working mirror for FPSC. I bet it wouldnt work.

A mod has been erased by this sig because it is too large
