btw if i may suggest
something that would be nice to have
instead of using the Game Settings.exe
how about a built in graphics setup?

this way
FPSC Games packaged with it would look more professional

I just purchased the vishnu launcher because I very much like its options and style and plan to release a game. Will the vishnu launcher receive the dx9 checker updated? Just curious, very cool looking product here

New screen shots with some changes.

Ip address system has been taken out as it slow's down the Packer to much getting the information.(Its not major bad but don't like the idea of it and pretty pointless being multiplayer tells you your ip address anyway.

Added more info to the system info and the packer now works with a built packed game from vishnu packer v9.2

Hey s4real, sorry if its the wrong place to ask but it feels current and is vishnu related. About the vishnu launcher again, is there any way to further edit the key binder? Meaning, to prevent specific keys from being selected (eg. the 'm' key shouldn't be selected for anything else as its in use for the scripted map) and disabling options altogether such as peek left/right (they don't feature in my game). And also I remember a game I played that used the vishnu launcher had an animated menu (probably a video). Is there are support for a video as the background menu? It isn't listed as compatible on the pdf file that's included.

If not none of these are issues, just questions. Great product

@Burger its ok as vishnu launcher thread been closed, I've asked for it to be open again.

There is no way to edit the keybinder in Vishnu launcher.

The video playback feature has never been a feature in Vishnu launcher the game you thinking off used a private version that was hard coded for his game.

Due to support has ended for Vishnu launcher I am thinking of doing a Vishnu launcher extra but I like to get vishnu packer extra done first.

I'm always looking for feedback and what people like to see in the products.

Beta testing seems to be going well and should be the first release soon, the first release will not reflect the full features that should be added in future versions.

The ability to compile one level at a time and then run these levels separately from a launcher. Since I've been thinking about doing it myself I realize that there are some difficulties. The biggest problem as far as I can see is that one will not be able to place all the levels in one folder. Well, I think that but there may be a way. However, I do believe that this will make a super huge game on whole. So, I vacillate on whether or not this would be a good idea anyway.

The packer is kinda like a virtual drive with the files on the inside correct? Can it read files outside that virtual drive? As your packer is great for none fps files, Would like to be able to read from outside the drive for config files etc. got my money ready for the pro version

@GreenDixy :- If you using a none fpsc game you will have to program so it see the config files outside the packed game if not you will lose all configs and saved data.

If funded vishnu Packer Extra will be free.

If funded is not reached then everyone who donated will get a copy and Vishnu may end up being a ended product as I can't afford to keep it running anymore with updates.

depends what you want to do with them.

Most people are happy to just use the one product but if you read the manuals it does have instructions what order to use them.

If you have any problems just email me and we can go threw it more.

Vishnu packer extra is only £50 donation away from the product being released for free.

I have added all donations to keep vishnu alive and this is the final amount needed to reach free release.
