There is another Female Programmer!!!!

The user 'Compton' who has a Buffy Avtar is female, according to her profile. I told her she should post here, maybe it'll force us all back on topic

By the way, yes its a great (if long) song, but its called "Kiss From a Rose". It was in one of the Batman Films, I forget which. Probably Batman Returns OR Batman Forever, due to its time in my memory :p

most of the girlies here don't post, atleast not about being a girl - cause well ... look at this topic eh

and DG no you can't have the lil one, they're all mine mwhahaa
sides i prefer the lil ones - maybe monique will actually start using the forum, before i left for my "vacation" she was muttering something about having some fun here.

she kinda made me cry actually, i finally show'd her DarkBasic - she tinkered for like 5mins and then turned to me and said "so what kinda game did you wanna make?" and i'm like "oh i was working on some nice physics code" for some new models.

She was like "oh okay" and i went off to lunch ... 30mins later she gave me a CD, get home put it in and install the game. What i've been trying for months to complete she's like gone and done in 30mins
she used vehicles from work too, so i mean i will show you guys what she achieved - after i replace what isn't mine.

man if she does start talkin' here i can see alot of guys starting to feel inadiqute - hehee

Nothing wrong with honnor, pride and glory as long as they are not the only things that matters. It also depends on how you define them, what is honnorable for one may not be the same for someone else.

I'm not sure you know what I mean with being a romanticist. I like stories and to make up my own. That's why I'm into gamemaking, to tell my own stories my own way =)

Yea, I'm still about, just panicing cause my finals are getting closer and I've sooooo much work to do!

It was lovely to chat to you Raven on the MSN thing, sorry if I woke you! Can't believe you were up and online at 6am! I'm usually only getting to bed at that time.

Well now that you've heard my Northern Irish accent, I'm sure you'll realise it's quite different from the sterotypical irish accent.

Also to those in the forum who don't know much about Northern Ireland, it's perfectly safe to visit.
If you go looking for trouble in NI, you'll find it. Communties also stick very close together, and protect each other.

I love my country, we have our problems but sure everywhere has problems.

Heaven doesn't want me, and hell is afraid I'll take over!

I know what you mean, been there done that. Well I didn't have as many finals as you got (I had 2 =)) but anything with a date on is horrible. My RPG The Magic Land have a deadline at 1 Jan. Hopefully this is the last time I'm working with one as it's not fun at all.

I wasn't dissing NI Rose I have travelled there extensively and its beautiful I just really object to the violence between Catholics and Protestants, when Christianity is supposed to be a forgiving, non-violent religion BTW the Northern Irish accent, wilst harsher than Southern, can sound darned sexy if softly spoken by a pretty young 'coleen'

The problem with DB chats is that they trun empty after a few days since ppl doesn't wanna wait for others to join

If you set it up on undernet then you get a free bot (X or W) that protects the chanel.

Update:

Info for the IRC server follows..

server: irc.hashnet.org
port: 6667
channel: #darkbasic
botname: GamesMaster

There are no passwords for the server, or the channel.
The bot will join the channel, if it's empty when you join, and will op iteself and deop you.

When you've connected to the server, just type: /join #darkbasic

If anyone still needs info for conencting... then MSN me, my info is below on the button =P

oh hell competitions

Well, back to sorting out the worst ever server!

PS. check out [url]www.jfl-media.com [/url]it is a kinda project of mine, it is not my site but i do all the major security and emergency fixing of the server. Over the last 2 weeks i have re-compiled the kernel twice and had to do 5 back-ups, but now i can say that the site is running very smoothly, and i can relax for a bit.
