I'm American and I NEVER voted for him. Respect is earned, not given blindly. So people can make fun of him all they want (or most of our politicians) because I'm not offended.

We used to have a billboard at work full of manipulated pictures like these.

I wouldn't make fun of them here, might offend and turn things nasty, I think bad things of both gentleman. Although I do like to laugh at a funny joke about people, I don't think it's right to give disrespect to people, despite any justice on it, although guilty of that myself.

Ahem, do you even know how the government works? In case you fell asleep during your classes, popular vote does not elect the president. E for effort though

Did he ever say that the popular vote gets him in? No, you just made a blind assumption that you hope will give you a reason to be a jerkhole.

That's not as bad as you think you said.

Yes, he did. To repeat myself, "especially since its the American population that votes them in..."

But the American population does vote in presidents. Who else does it, the Luxembourgian population?

We do not vote in presidents. The electoral college votes for president (which represents the people.. hence why we are a "Representative Republic" and not a democracy), and they consider the general population vote count (but they do not always go with the most popular vote!)

@BiggAdd and El Goorf: Even though you didn't make them those are some pretty crazy pics! I like the mouse one the most.

True but who elects the voters in the electoral college. The people. If they don't vote for the person the people want then they won't be put into office again and will be voted out next time.

Woah.. back to politics This isn't necessarily true in all states, according to that article I posted. Some states the electors can be abritrarily chosen.
