Considering I am lurking at a somewhat slow pace, once again, I've decided I might as well give this thread some unappealing sex appeal. This is the most recent picture of me,taken 4/21 in a Super 8 Motel, which was the HQ for Chicago Powerfest:

Obviously, I am in the middle, with my fluff`o beauty. The men I am with are Rob Lowe and John Perez of Solitude Aeturnus. Also, that is a non-alcoholic nutrient beverage in my hand, and anyone who says otherwise is a sinner!

People have a habit of talking me in to things I generally don't want to.. on the plus side they usually are cute and offer something that makes up for it in return ^_^

@Jeku, Your wife reminds me very much of Valerie Chow the actress.

Anyone who gets bored enough to look, there are some old pics of me on myspace. http://profile.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=user.viewprofile&friendid=124057630

Lost in thought, you do look alot like Rain Wilson. He's Dwight on the US version of 'The Office'. It's a comedy show making a bit fun of reality shows.

heh, think most guys find their own partners hotter than anyone else.. atleast those who are faithful

weird thing is i've never heard of anyone in the industry we're in being in trouble for fooling around. wonder if that says something about artists/coders.

I think all that really says is that we're nerds, lol. We wouldn't cheat because we wouldn't want to ruin what we already have, and let's face it, the ladies can't help but love smart guys .

Oh, and no offense Raven, but you look like Tim Roth in that bottom picture.

The weirdest thing about these threads is that you associate the posters with their avatars or signatures for so long, that you just think that's similar to what they look like... It's really odd to see Raven how he is when he's had that one dude with the hat on as his avatar for years, or a non green alien form of Indi

In Pulp Fiction, he's the British guy that holds up the restaurant with his girlfriend. He's been in some other movies too, but that's the one I figure most people would recognize him from.

It sure does, we're using our brains for 3d creation and programming, so something clicks in us saying "hey she's a great girl and we could be happy forever, I'm not going to go **** this up by being a douche"

Anyone can get a girl that works in this industry, nerdiness or not, just be a nice person and become friends first, that way you spend time with them hanging out and you can see the true person.

P.S. Raven-Hope you won't hold it against me, but your gf is pretty, glad to know you're hanging on to her.

Interesting, thanks to google, I now see that it was a very controversial and a very contempory top hat during victorian time, rumour has it that Queen Victoria herself would where it at weekends - the only reason people chose not to wear it was because the English thought it would give something for the French to laugh about, as we had given them a lot of grief about their accent and culture, it was not wise to wear the pink variety of top hats...Until Raven breaks the barriers of course. And because of him, I can imagine Benjamin getting a lot of laughs from his French buddies for being English.

He played the undercover cop in Reservoir Dogs too, hasn't been in anything of note recently. I think Raven does look a bit like his avatar, as do I .

Or maybe we just end up looking like our avatars, like how old people start to look like their pets.

Yeesh Zen, what is it with you long islanders always having to have artsy cool photos j/k, but seriously, 7 out of 10 of my long island friends have a portfolio of art photos of themselves. God help me when they have kids, and their child is posing in a cemetary holding an apple in one hand and a whip in the other, and the image is all black-and-white except for their hands and eyes. Oh wait, nevermind, I already got a picture like that from someone once!

Weather was lurvely today wasnt it...

So lovely that when a car drove past my clothes got drenched.
I blame the weatherpeople, they had to say it was going to be bad. If they had just not said anything then everything would be fine.

OMG I forgot I've got to do CCF tomorrow. Its going to be so much fun, rolling around in mud just to fire a couple of bullets at a target. YAY!

Je vais avoir"drenched"... Don't mock my French!

ahem, yes I'll just shut up now and hide in a corner!

Aha look what I've found in the corner.(ATTACHED) Oh its empty

I'm in France at the moment on 'oliday. I'm just glad I brought the laptop with me this year, and the house I'm renting out has broadband which is great The house has digital but the table supporting the TV broke a leg and the TV went down with a crash . So now I am without English TV for the rest of the week.

Perhaps if we squash father tree's head a bit then I'd see it better, he certain has some of the facial features.

Also, all English people look like Hugh Grant, can't you see the resemblance in the rest of us? That's why American girls go mad for us
