I think you might be able to change it to normal via your personal preferences... but dont quote me on that, it'll be over by tomorrow ^.^

And yes, you need to beat the master to level up.

If you just keep getting more and more experience, he eventually comes and finds you, so I leave it till then. That way, I get easier fights and more cash

Hey all, at 10pm CST I'll be enabling unlimited days for the next 24 hours, to end at 10pm CST on Saturday. This means you will be able to level up like crazy, and not have to wait for a new game day!

This is a great way for any of you who haven't played yet to get into the game, and a great way for those who've been playing to see more of it.

So go get some food and caffeine, and take a bathroom break, and prepare for awesome fun times over the next 24 hours

Haha.

But! What happened to being able to buy your own houses? I can't find the option anymore, unless, of course, I'm just being dumb..?

[EDIT]
Oh, and I've married Violet twice now... how many times do I have to do it before she'll actually stay with me!?
(The 'married to' section says Violet straight after I do it, but then next page load, it's gone)

The Hamlet appeared a day or so ago, with no houses for sale. Now it's gone altogether.

Question 1: When you go back to level 1, what do you get to keep? Gems? Gold?

Question 2: Jess, how did you get so many gems?!?!?!?!

[EDIT] Ok, I see your message about losing your cash. So what can I spend £50,000 on? I already have the biggest hat in the village.

And how do you train in Tyran's Gym? I'm level 14, 141 hitpoints, 29 + 7.2 Attack, 29 + 10.4 defence, and it says I'm still not good enough!

Yeah, when you go back to lvl1, the only things you keep are your gems.
I'm not sure about hats, because I didn't have one. Nor about wives since I can't seem to keep mine for longer than one refresh

I tried training too... I think you have to make sure you have enough turns, then pick the right one first. After doing that for a little, you can train another area, but it costs in the first. Don't quote me, that's just what I picked up from the info page.

I got so many gems because... I dunno, I fight alot.
I've played about 80 days worth, and on about half of those days, I've resurrected myself and kept going. On top of that, I go to the toilet every day, take extra bounties (from Dag in the Inn), and the Cats (Felyne's) have an extra sense for Gems. Having said that, the extra sense only seems to pick me up an extra gem for every 3 or 4 that I find through normal fights.
Oh, and every time that annoying girl tries to sell me something for gems, I buy it

Haha, and taking Violet up to the room for 10 minutes costs 2 turns... That's too funny

[EDIT]
Oh, and to top it off, taking full advantage of these free days, I've got over 1000 favor with Ramius. That's 10 more free resurrections on top of what I get tormenting

... I think I'm hooked
[/EDIT]

[EDIT 2]
While we're on the topic, how much were the houses again?
I've got 31K - is that enough?
[/EDIT]

That was exactly the issue, houses were supposed to be listed there, I'm checking into it, and will reload it once I find a fix.

As for the marriage issue, I'll look into this as well. Thanks for the info!

[edit] I think I might have fixed it up. Let me know if you still can't stay married

Nope, she still wont stay with me... I do, however, get a buff after marrying her:
Lover's Protection (60 rounds left)

But, I get the feeling that that's triggered by the marriage, then the fact it's not staying together is separate from the buff system.

Don't you hate that, when you're doing something, and you're on the brink of having it complete and 100% working, but you're stuck somewhere and can't get it done!?

The update to 1.1.1 went flawless. Everything appears to be working properly. As for dwellings, once you are eligible to purchase them you will see a list of dwellings you can purchase.

Have fun!

Oh ye, and while I was testing, I married Violet. She's totally mine, suckers

As long as she stays with me, anyways

Nice, she's finally staying with me!

And I have to wait 12 days before I can spend more money on my dwelling... That sucks, since I have 35K that's going to go waste when I slay the dragon again

I think I'll just buy a massive hat!

Still no dwellings - only the one that Jess has bought

I'm now in a "don't want to play until I can buy a dwelling" situation. With nearly £60K in the bank, it would be silly to carry on until I can spend it.

Oh, sorry, dwellings can't be purchased until at least 1 dk.... And the good dwellings take a number of dk's before you can purchase... I would.. uh.. buy a hat?

I don't get why you lose your gold, though... Seems a little weird. Especially when you keep your gems!

But then again, the game is about slaying dragons, which in itself is weird enough

[EDIT]
You know what'd be a great plug-in? A shop to buy gems at about 1500 each... That'd rock!
[/EDIT]

[EDIT2]
Awww, you lose all your Favor with Ramius too

Dragon Kill...

Basically, all your savings are going to go to waste.
Don't fret, though, to establish a shack was only 2K or so, so it's not like you would have had much use for it anyway!

In that regard, the game feels kind of unbalanced, when things like jewelery costs 300 gems with no way of converting between gems and gold.

I'll see what I can do about setting up a gem store.

I'll also be adding some new things sometime over the next few days so you guys have more to do

It takes ages, I know... But, mine healed a couple 'days' ago.

I think it's just a waste, though, just like the hats, since it doesn't give you anything, and you have no idea that you actually have it while playing the game normally
