You usually want to download them from the website, as the website should have the most up to date drivers. You should not install your video card from the cd, ever. You want to grab that from ati/nvidia's site.

I haven't checked up on what this is for, I did a quick search but no luck. I assume it just designates 32bit programs and 64 bit programs. I don't really quite know without looking into it further. This is normal in vista and you shouldnt worry about it tho.

That's not necessarily true. But I don't raid my drives, as I want to use all the storage space, and I don't want to combine the space into one large partition, because if one fails you loose all the data on the good drive.
So if you want windows on your sata drive, you'll need to reinstall windows.
