If the kid itself can't 100% vouch the person, yes. Classmates, ofcourse. Soccermates, welcome. Yet if my kid would meet someone over the internet, no way that person is sleeping in my house until I know who he is, where he comes from and all that stuff. He/She can come by for dinner. At most.

Ummm--- I'm a terrible cynic. Hard to imagine somebody can "go out" without meeting. WOW does not count as a first date. Bill Gates would virtual date his girlfriends back in the day--- i.e. they'd go to see the same movie in different cities then phone each other and talk about it. But at least they met.

You should ask her to meet, and then start up a relationship after that if you're still interested. But if you never meet, then it's not real (in my opinion).

Yeah so you save up enough money to go out there and meet her once. then what? you wait a few more years before you an afford to go there again? Not much of a relationship. Just find you a local girl. I mean if she broke up with you cause yall live so far away. You can say you are dating her all you want, I'm pretty sure she will go out with others guys.

@Gowmars : She didn't break up with me because we live so far away from each other, she broke up with me because we haven't met in person yet. =) and btw, I'm going to be working about 3 jobs at once, within the next few weeks, making my 3D RPG & MMORPG, designing websites for corperations, and repairing PCs, possibly =)

@Insert Name Here : I know it's her, because I can trust her with my life. I've known her for 10 years, going on 11 this December. =) I know it sounds crazy, but I can trust her as far as I can code, and mate, I can code ALOT =) Another reason, is that she said she'd get me the picture by that night, and 5 minutes later, I receive like 4 files from her with her picture, taken from her camera =)
