i will probably get noob slapped for this but this website is what i am using http://www.spruz.com its free to begin with and cost £500 $1000 one time payment to upgrade for all its features that means that professional website designers will work with you to make a unique website instead of using templates you also get emails and domain name for life i use it cos i a lays (I DID TRY USING THAT MICROSOFT PROGRAM AND A FEW OTHER FREE ONES BUT I'M JUST TO LAYS E TO LEARN HOW TO USE THEM PROPERLY) i hope you don't noob slap me for saying this but i felt it was necessary because some one gave me this websites url when i asked a similar question (if this website has been posted above my post I'm very sorry i could find it when i scan read down)

p.s I'm dyslexic so don't take the p*** when it comes to my spellings

try this link there home page doesnt seem to be working at the moment [href]//http://www.spruz.com/main.asp?page=dp&dis=555063[/href]

That looks kinda neat, no reason why anyone would slap you for it (you didn't include an affiliate link, after all)

However, I'm always skeptical about something that's a one time fee for "life". If that website goes out of business you lose your website and your domain name!

I take that back, that sites a nasty ripoff.

Quote: "$999 One-Time Setup - $49.95/monthly"

That's 1000 just to get setup, not a one time fee! You still have to pay 50 bucks a month after that!!

You can buy your own dedicated server starting at 50 bucks a month (I've got a "virtual" dedicated server for 30 bucks a month), I certainly wouldn't pay for shared hosting at such exorbitant prices.

If you were to commission a site to be made, a thousand bucks would get you one sweet freaking site built from scratch to your taste, so no, I wouldn't touch that service with a ten foot poll.

but i don't know were u r getting your information from i will email them asking about it i read it as 1000 one time setup fee or 50 a month not and i will post here when they reply could be 2-3days tho
i did ask them about bandwidth and they said it is so large that they call it unlimited even for free users.

I got the info from this page:

http://www.spruz.com/main.asp?page=dp&dis=625311

"Unlimited" is just a selling point, if you read the service agreement, I almost guarantee you that it says that they can shut you off if you put too much of a "strain on their servers", meaning if you get too much traffic. That turns unlimited bandwidth into limited bandwidth

Of course, for most users this is not an issue, but for websites that require many servers in order to run, like wikipedia, digg or myspace, such a service is not available (they pay for each megabyte used).

What I recommend is stop being lazy, go and check out spidahost.com or something (someone who offers realistic prices and limits).

Once you have a real host, you can check out some open source cms software like joomla, and there's a lot of websites out there that will make a template for you, and also set up your site for you.

I believe spidahost will also help you get a site running for a price, you can contact them if you're interested.

(I used to go through spidahost before I bought dedicated hosting)

It may be if you go for the free option, but don't upgrade!

Instead, hire on spidahost to set up a site for you if you want to pay money. Your money will be well spent there, at least, in my opinion of course!

@smiley - Have you ever heard of punctuation? You'll find more people will respond if you make logical sentences with beginnings and endings

Interpunction interpunction sucks big time because it just adds bandwidth loss to the server and thats a very bad thing I know that because a friend once told me that data is sent from the server through the internet the internet is a sort of big network of connections just like a huge LAN but even bigger with millions of computers and the one browsing the forum will recieve that data but the more data sent the more it costs so not using interpunction is actually a good thing and all smart people can usually follow what I write but lucky for you I still capitalize I because otherwise this would be even more unreadable as you call it but I disagree that it is unreadable it just takes some effort and youre not lazy are you because youre a mod and youre supposed to be totally cool and smart and stuff and not need interpunction because interpunction is really complicated stuff and requires more button presses and like I said bandwidth so you just imagine the interpunction is there because no one else is complaining of course they might start complaining but thats just because you have one of those ubercool mod signs next to your avatar I always wondered what that avatar was though I mean it looks kinda cool I must admit heck you know its hard not to use interpunction Im accustomed to writing correct grammar and interpunction and stuff this is very hard on me ah well enough of this before I get noobslapped and thats not a good thing after all

That hurt my eyes

Godaddy.com and Frontpage are your best bet for a simple web site.
or Freewebs for a crappy one.

YAY (this is a double post but a different topic)

The design package is 999…if you want to upgrade, meaning an ad free website then it is 49 per month additional…You do not have to do the upgrade with the Spruz complete.

and i read the terms of use and there was nothing saying that they could shut my website down for it using up to much band width
although they express the right to shut down peoples websites without warning...

i am still unshore about some deatils about this website creator but i think that it might work for me (again lol)

please bare in mind I'm dyslexic so please DON'T comment on my bad grammar or spellings people tend to and it tends to get on my nerves as i do try my best...

Smiley, honestly, your English - especially for a dyslexic - is rather good there .

thanks i just have to read it a couple of times and spell check it then usually its ok but sometimes especially on long posts i screw up

being dyslexic isn't an excuse but is often used as one you just have to try a bit harder in certain subjects for me its English.

back on topic i think you should have a look at spruz.com i am thinking of using them (unless i or some one else spots any more faults with them)

As long as you try your best, dyslexia is an excuse.

i suppose you have a point but any way different people have different views for example if an employee said sorry I didn't finish that letter to ... its because I'm dyslexic i think the employer would be quite justified to take disciplinary actions or some other action (basically should treat the person as he would a "normal" person)but I'm not shore if that would be politically correct (england at the moment is very politically correct i for one don't think thats a good thing but thats a different topic)

You still haven't convinced me But the free option is quite a good deal, just their paid options are way too expensive.

Anyways I'm not here to tell you what to do, just wanted to make you aware there were alternative options.

And I wouldn't worry about the grammar Nazis, I can understand what you're saying just fine.
