Anyway, my specs:

RAM: 4 gb installed, 2.87 recognized by XP Pro, Vista Business (not SP1) and Ubuntu Hardy Heron.
Graphics: Radeon XPress 1150, 125 tb shared memory (not sure).

indeed it does suck like a vacuum, hence im not keeping it on the floor like i used to, at which time it. hence also why ive gone as fanless as possible on the interior, so the dust doesnt get into the heatsinks.

Desktop:

Windows XP SP 2
Packard Bell
1.5ghz Pentium 4
512mb SDRam (upgraded from 256mb)
256mb ATI Radeon 9550 AGP 4x (Upgraded from 64mb GeForce 2)
40gb HDD
CD R/W Drive
DVD Drive

Laptop (AKA A nightmare, barely can do the things I use it for, MS Word, Internet (can't do that anymore now that I've removed the AV and SP2 to get it working more smoothly), storing iPod stuff):
Windows XP Pro (Was SP2, but removed that because SP2 slowed it down too much)
Toshiba
600mhz Pentium 3
128mb RAM
Unknown GFX Card (onboard)
20gb HDD
DVD R/W Drive
Wireless

The computer I'm using at this moment? My family's Apple eMac, 1.5ghz IBM, MacOSX, 256mb RAM, don't know the graphics, but this thing is still a beauty and works swimmingly, unlike my laptop or how my desktop was when I had less ram.

CPU: Athlon XP 2400+
RAM: 2GB (still running on good 'ol DDR400)
GPU: 7600GS 256mb
HDD: 500GB Seagate Barracuda (IDE)
Mobo: ASUS (can't remember exact model)

Need a new machine really. Most of my specs are OK, but the mobo is showing its limits now (i.e. it's AGP, only takes a fairly poor socket processor and only takes DDR1 RAM. I don't care too much about IDE vs. SATA though)

Geforce 9800GTX graphy card
1,1TB HDD space
Core 2 Duo 3.0ghz wolfdale CPU
And ofcourse a floppy drive

First post in about a year. Yay!

CPU: Amd Athlon 6000+ Dual Core
Mobo: Asus Crossfire (nvidia 590 series Northbridge)
Graphics: nVidia 9600GT
Sound: Soundblaster X-Fi xtremeGamer
RAM: 4GB (will be 8 soon)
Case: Same as el goorf (see pics above, except cables make it look messy )
HDD: 1859.4GB (1.81TB) usable space

Need to change keyboard/mouse soon, going back to wired since I'm a little annoyed at having to constantly charge batteries. Thinking of something like Logitech G11/15 range or Saitek gamer range. Mouse haven't looked at yet.

DDR3 has latencies of about 7-7-7-15 according to Wikipedia. Although proportional to DDR2 that is slower, I think it's kind of out of context - I mean, these numbers are in cycles.

Considering that an 800Mhz clock can do about 1 cycle per 1.25 nanosecond, a 7 cycle delay on TRP/prehcharge for a DDR3 module is going to count for zilch (which is only 2 cycles slower than DDR2)

CPU: Intel Core 2 Duo 2.2 ghz
GFX: 1GB NVIDIA 7950 GX2, (Won at last years Convension, Yay)
RAM: 4GB, (2x2GB)

I was origionally going to get a QuadCore Processor as they where on special offer, but they sold out before my payday, But i think my Mobo can also support them if i ever want to upgrade, it will also accet a max 8GB Memory, But i Figured 4GB was more than anouth for now.

@ Jason

What's wrong with it? It lights up in different colours? You should get that checked.

I never understood why some "pimp" their computer. As pretty as it is, It's the screen you're supposed to look at, isn't it?

Oh well, it's just one of those things I don't understand, just like gravity and Egyptian hieroglyphs.

It's a laptop, actually.

1,67Ghz Core 2 Duo T5500
3GB DDR2 667Mhz RAM
120GB HDD + 80GB External (USB) + 500GB External (Firewire)
Nvidia GeForce Go 7300 128MB
Notebook Cooling Stand

I need to upgrade it, but I think I'll wait a year before doing so. This one is doing the job quite nicely.

Alucard94, that's a pretty good laptop, don't look at the size, look at the speed. If I tried crysis on PC1 on my list, (128mb) crysis would go medium, or if I put the 9550 in PC1, crysis would only just run on low.

AKA, the 128mb is better than the 256mb.
