Yeah, I wouldn't be arguing like that if it was someone other than Rami, we "know" each other well and this is a common occurrence on both the forum and IM . Neither of us are easily offended, both are strongly opinionated, and both like to debate, so we do (I always win, but Rami insists on continuing ). To people who don't know us, it may seem like we hate each other or are mad at each other, but really it's just how we argue and debate about things .

BTW, Rami, a side note since you haven't been on IM recently and neither have I, I have some progress to show you on Brood and I need you to command me on what to do next, so get on .

I totally agree
Through my work I get a go on most of the new titles and there has been more than one occasion where I couldn't bear to go on after just 5 minutes!
FPS games especially are just not fun anymore (apart from COD4).
Something else I've realised is how shockingly bad most storylines are; it's like everyone (including players) has gotten so obsessed with with photo-realism that they've forgotten what the word GAME means!
Here's a good example: I have two NBA Live games; 2003 and 08 but I always play 2003 because it's simply more fun!

Thank god for GTAIV; even though I love the game I find myself rationing it very heavily, because there really is nothing else that has impressed me (with the exception of UEFA Euro 2008).

When will this generation see classics like Fahrenheit, Mafia and Hitman?

It is far better to complete a 10 line program than to start a 10,000 line program.

Blame Ubisoft for not marketing it at all. By the way they're doing a sequel.

I don't understand--- are those supposed to be landmarks of the "last" generation? Mafia came out only a few years ago.

They aren't quite ready to be deemed classics yet.

We will always have the guiding lights in our industry, games that do hark to a methodology, but I think they will be the exception to the rule. Portal for instance, is one of those.

That game got soaring reviews in every game magazine I can think of, and it still didn't sell. It was different, and that's why. Beyond Good & Evil 2, I heard. Good stuff . If they don't change Jade too much.

True, I mean, in an elevator, you can ignore her and there are far worse situations you can be in with her - they're not worth even thinking about - besides this forum has minors running around, if we step it up any further than elevator, then TGC will be boycotted.
