Sadly...yes, yes I can.

Wow, there are so many Nerds who have posted pictures of themselve, but don't worry, I am joking, haha! Alucard, awesome you're are an Asian! Wow! Me too! We should eat tacos sometime.

Well...all but the last bit, I added that on. The joys of netspeak.

I'd add a drunk photo (as I think I owe you guys one by now), but the one I have all you can see is my arm, some drunken twit got his head in the way.

I just had to show this, not me but is anyone else having this "Ubuntu Cola" being sold everywhere? I recently just found this in my local grocery store. And well... I obviously had to buy it. Tastes sort of fruity.

Lol, wonders if it has anything to do with the OS.

It sorta looks photoshopped. The little square logo near the top doesn't look right. But I think that's just the way the pic was taken / my eyes being silly cause it looks legit everywhere else.

Yes, and it tastes better than Coca Cola in my opinion. Our university shop sells them as buy one, get one free - so it's the obvious drink to buy between lecturues.

Or as I like to say to the geeks in my friendship groups: "Linux Cola, keeps the velociraptors away."

But the reason they called it Ubuntu is not because of the OS, but they named it that for similar reason as why they named the OS it. I think it's from an African language and it means 'unity' or something along those lines.

It means Freedom to People, Seppuku
And yes it does not have anything to do with the OS its just because of the word Ubuntu. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ubuntu_Cola

Think Ubuntu means "human" (and not "we are human", more like "the human OS", or "the human drink", do not know if it is the correct translation from my native language, here it means "medmänsklighet").

Or better yes, to quote from Roxas's link:

Quote: "The cola is named after the African philosophy of Ubuntu, or humanity towards others."

So it's something to do with people/humans in a collective way - so we're sort of all close.

Personally I think the taste isn't too far off from Pepsi.

Nono, I agree. Though I haven't tasted both of them within a short peroid of time.

Lol, I haven't seen that Ubuntu cola before, that's awesome. I think the weirdest drink I have ever seen is Bawls. Its an energy drink, and its slogan is "Put some bawls in your mouth." or something like that. I'm not kidding, although I thought it was fake the first time I saw it.

Quote: "Obviously, because Pepsi is dirt compared to Coke."

Oh...... THAT must explain why its pretty much THE most popular and best selling soft drink in the world! Its SO obvious now!

This was taken July 4th 2003, at a park up in Michigan.
The girl next to me I had met for the second day.
Two months later we got married.
Five years after that we have two kids a boy and a girl.

I think you'll find a number of posters in the thread don't take things all that seriously in life...in fact I believe you may find sweety-pie-o-darling-man that I didn't take you seriously...now give me a hug!

Me too, yet here I am, posting on a forum section call 'Geek Culture', nothing wrong with being geeky - the hollywood depiction is a load of rubbish. They tend to be more on the nerdy end of things. Most geeks have a life too you know. Except Grandma, he's Norwegian.

Noone would buy that. When you lie, you need to be less defensive to not arouse suspicion. Like: "Time bends around me when I am extra awesome" or "The camera is old and it takes a while to store the pictures".
