* Ambience Occlusion
* Motion Blur
* Per Pixel Lighting (Yes you read right!)
* Reflection of metal surfaces
+ Much More

[Dev Log] 12/9/08
* Reduced Motion Blur Velocity from 40 to 10 (As per request of CoffeeGrunt)

* Reduced DoF Blur range to from 5 to 4 & Increased DoF Focus range from 50 to 60 in attempt to stop weapon blurring completely.

Looks awesome, i'd like to see the reflective metal. Btw, CoZ, with the new beta released which allows up to 60 bones per enemy, do you plan to implement more bones into your enemies?

Does that mean you have it finished integrating it or not?

Btw.:

Thanks for the feedback guys! Time to answer some questions.
Quote: "do you plan to implement more bones into your enemies?"

Hopefully yes!

@Nighthawk: Yes, these are all 100% in game shots without any photo-editing or rendering.
Quote: "Does that mean you have it finished integrating it or not?"

Its pretty much all finished. I just have to iron out a few things. Those small anomalies at the bottom of the screen is just the information bar being blurred by the 'motion blur' effect. And your correct, this is not so much a source Mod of the FPSC engine, but rather adapting a D3D9.dll to work within FPSC, so it is a external MOD. All the effects can be adjusted by a .ini file. I believe Ertlov mentioned it to you on the Dark Earth thread. I also had been trying to adapt the D3D9.dll to work within FPSC, and it seems to be going rather smoothly so far

Expect more updates soon guys!

No offense, but I can't see any of the screens because of the motion blur, in fact, looking at them for more than a minute gives me a haedache, so I guess I won't be playing this.....

It's a bit too intensive y'know....

@Coffeegrunt: Dont worry Mate. The motion blur is only that intense if you run, but I will still tone it down a bit all the same

Wow this looks great. Assuming your selling this, you should sell the modded engine with it or for an add-on like an extra $10. I'd buy depending on the frame rate. I'm amazed!

Thanks for the kind comments Guys:
Here are some more shots for your digestion!

These are coming out slightly darker than they actually are, so I apologize!

Quote: "Have you got a publisher for this yet? Looks amazing!"

Yes I do

@AaronG: I am not selling DS at all, its Free!, so you dont need to pay a penny. Also, I pretty much get 33fps + all the way through on a large level

Feedback welcome!

These new shots look very nice, especially the lighting effects. I guess you're using the ENB effect mod for GTA San Andreas?

I've been gone forever it seems and to my luck... I might not
be able to be around or work on and game dev. I really wanted to
play this. I guess I'll have to later. I give you props for being
able to use a plug-in for FPSC.

By the way... Dusk is pretty much in its own.
I do want to keep the things we've spoken at heart though.

First shots are too blured to see and the second ones are too dark also to see. So one cant see if this is good or bad as one cant see the game. I am very interested in the DOF, can we see some lit shots so we can see it working.

Well, could you tell us what you exactly have to mod in ENB to get it working? I wouldn't mind having it in my games.

I like the new shots. It's a bit dark, but looks like the bloom shader works wonders with the illumination maps.

Once he releases the game he will practically be giving us all the new moddy stuff he made. Because you have to include all .dll's in the built game, so an fpsc user could just put that in their built game, and have all the effects for themselves. But if you make it illegal without giving us permission to use them, then it will considered pirating , I agree this IS a new found way of modding fpsc, without actually touching the source! And it can work in higher version of fpsc other than version 1.07!
Wicked cool idea...
Good luck with this, and its FREE!? Omg...!...Sweet horror...

I downloaded the so-called "mod", and it seems to work quite well, you just have to tweak the values a little. CoZ, keep it up!

Haha!, sorry to burst your bubble mate, but Just so you know, I didnt just download the .Dlls etc, stick it in FPSC, then away we go. I had to alter the .dlls and make seperate .ini files so it works properly, and FPSC loads all the effects by default (without key shortcuts), along with fixing various shader problems that were encountered when using a external mod. So, you have a long way to go before you will have the Mod working properly inside FPSC.

@Rampage: Indeed it is a new found way! Thanks for the comment!
@Fallen one: Read inspire's post. And i have removed DoF for now due to it was causing to many problems. Im waiting for Ertlov to get back to me on this.

Stay tuned Guys
