Just a little side prject I'm working on, I've very little to do at the moment, so I'm working on this. Only gonna be a little three level game, like Emergence.

DEMO: http://www.mediafire.com/file/tzztmmyhldj/Penultimate.zipa

Here's some screens from the first level, Primidrode ammunition dump.

You mean decrease the light range? Okay, I'll try that, but it's at 0 ambience.

Thanks.

The first level should be done by the end of the week of next week at the very least, if all goes as planned the second may be halfway done.

NOOOOOOO!

You used that one program thing that starts with a v. vishura or something like that. It always crashes my computer. Could you just release this in the standard form. I want to play!

No, I can't, sorry. I don't want anyone stealing EAI's media.

For all I know you could be lying and just wanting to nick the media included.

Hello Toasty Fresh, your game looks great. The lightings good and the whole general entity placement look great.

I disagree, this isn't a horror game (well that's what I'm assuming as you seem to dislike them alot), and the lighting looks fine, well atleast what my monitors showing.

Keep up the great work Toasty and good luck with this!

Cheers, Shadow Blade

Well, I think in the new updates, it does not include the textures or .fpe's or anything. So you don't really need it to be compressed.

You cant steal anything. Everything is in bin files I think... Right? Well, oh well. Maybe when I figure out whats wrong with that program running on my pc, I'll test the game...

The level layout is good. It's tight with plenty of turns and doors, and the frame rate stays high. Lighting is good as well. Even though I've seen all the media before, it's put together well and looks good.

My PC is fairly new, and Vishnu doesn't work properly. I think it's partly because you're using an old version. It won't exit after a game and gets stuck in a loading loop, over and over. I'm forced to reboot my computer to get out of it. I thought we now had content protection in the program.

The first thing I notice when the game starts is the sound of enemy footsteps. Maybe you should spawn them a little later?

The weapon (silencer) sound is not good. I though it was miss-firing.

The basement segment you used has issues with collision and the player gets stuck often. Enemy collision, or lack thereof, is more evident with this segment and they die in walls more often.

There are halls or corridors that lead back to themselves and dead ends that go nowhere. It seems like you did that for enemy placement, which doesn't work well to me. Also, they all have heavy automatic weapons that have little effect on the player.

Even though the enemy all have heavy weapons, they are very easy to kill and the level is simple to complete.

I fell through the floor in an office near a desk.

Best.

I noticed most of that stuff too

Yes, but it's supposed to be a mine level, as in they were mining and had not completely finished some tunnels.

I noticed that too, but I thought I fixed it...

Not sure what you mean, which segment?

I'll work on that, you mean I should increase the damage?

Anyway, thanks for your tips; I'll be sure to get them fixed before I finish.

Regardless of that it doesn't make good level design. You'll have to come to a compromise.
