What gives it away (other than being 100% identical in every way to Conjured's system) are the numbers. Conjured created a new number set of HUDS that use the not onlt the same font but the same colour, and the same background colour (the navy blue background) which is offset at exactly the same. I even spent last night altering the style of the numbers last night, conincidentally. Also, it is remarkable that you place the word "cash" at the exact same point as Conjured's system - and please don't say that is the natural placement as Conjured scripts place the cash hud a little too far to the right (IMO). By that I mean that the distance between the word "cash" and "health" is greater than the distance between the words "lives" and "health". This placement gives the hud a slightly off balance look. That same off balance look you screenshot demonstrates.
Not only are the fonts the same, but the colours and placement are identical. In addition, the the navy blue shadow on the numbers is also in Conjured's system and is
nothing like the default numbers (which feature no shadow)
Kitty101, it is not my intention to criticise you or your project - indeed, I posted in this topic because I want to see how it turns out. But you are quite clearly using Conjured's system. What I (and probably most others) cannot understand is why you won't admit to it? The evidence is now undeniable. Just own up and accept it and then you will have no need to ask people to get back on topic.
To be clear, I support you and your project. But trying to take credit for coming up with a cash system that you took from this very forum is making you look a little...shall we say silly? It is also massively dishonest and I doubt anyone wants to follow a project where the developer attempts to take credit for the work of others. How about you own up and then we can all congratulate you on adapting Conjured's cash system to include karma (a great idea, btw). Why not repay that interest with some honesty and then we can get back to discussing your game?
