Hey, I'm sure a lot of you know that the best team ever, the Pittsburgh Steelers, won the Superbowl yesterday. (Brace for impact of all the "Superbowl? What's that?" comments)
I live in Pittsburgh and am, of course, a big Steeler fan. So, in honor of their 6th Superbowl victory, I wrote a parody of Black Sabbath's "Iron man", called (you guessed it) "STEELER man". I want to record it and put it on youtube, and my site, Three Swords, but I can't sing worth crap.

So, I was wondering if anyone wanted to help out? I have all the lyrics written, and I have the music and recording equipment, but I need a vocalist. I'll do all the editing and mixing and such, i just need someone to sing.
I would prefer someone from Pittsburgh, if at all possible. I have some excellent recording equipment and a small sound booth available to record with, and I could buy you lunch to thank you for your help.
If I can't get someone from Pittsburgh, I'm willing to accept help from someone elsewhere, but you'll have to get your own recording equipment.
Obviously, the vocalist should have the right kind of voice for the song. I.E., no high pitched voices or anything like that.
I really think this could be cool if done correctly, and it'll only take a couple hours of your time, at the most.

So if anyone is interested, let me know, and possibly post or send me a sample of your singing.

Thanks in advance, Omega.
P.S. If you have any questions about this, feel free to ask.

Man! I wish I could help you, but my voice...not so great, plus I live in Illinois, where I don't like it so much (I really miss Wisconsin!).

I certainly hope you can pull this project off Omega! I can't wait to hear it when it's completed.

Wait....what?

Hey, thanks, Yodaman! I'm sure I can get this done. Even if I can't get help from anyone here, I have this one friend who could o it pretty well. He's just really busy.

Yes, right before we beat you senseless, and throw you in the river.
BTW, "Arizona" is too many syllables. It has to be two syllables. YOU FAIL.

So, anyone else interested?

Really? Well, if the Steelers suck, as you claim, then the Cardinals must suck at least six time as much, seeing as the Cradinals LOST TO THE STEELERS!
And if the Steelers, with their SIX SUPERBOWL WINS, suck, then every other team in the league sucks MORE. After all, the Steelers have the most Superbowl wins of any team EVER.
I mean really, just because the Steelers are the single best team out there, and always have been, doesn't mean everybody has to be jealous and bitter. There's nothing wrong with being SECOND best.

Seriously, if you don't like the Steelers, deal with it. Don't spam this thread with your jealous, loser-ly, anti-Steeler comments.

I'm a non-Steeler fan.lol Jk. Anyway must of been a "enlighting" moment for the steelers to win. But also I'm not in the usa and American Football on the telly is very very rare. Unless you have sky sports but recently we stopped buying for that subscription. But really you are honestly getting too excited over it, it seems abit to much to write a song about it. But its your choice go ahead.

Pittsburgh Fans are absolutely obsessed with their teams. I'm actually one of the less-intense fans. Some people go absolutely completely crazy of the Steelers.

Wolverhampton Wanderers FTW!

If you can't sing omega, maybe you should do it anyway, it would make it all the more amusing.

I can't sing for beans either, you're not alone.

I agree with your "don't like Steelers = get out" comment. There will be fanboys out there, no matter what. Not our fault we are too devoted to our football team. If you don't got anything to say nice about our team, don't say it here. Keep it to yourself.

Arizona was a big surprise to me to see in a superbowl. Didn't even know cardinals existed. I was like pittsburg and who?

Regardless, it was a close game at the end. Though, I'm still iffy on Holmes' touchdown.

Right, he didnt have both feet down. The only reason they didnt un-call it is because it would have potentially costed the steelers the game.

That was a B.S. Call and you know it.

Either way, it still was a pretty amazing game. I NEVER enjoy football, but I really liked this game. There were some very good plays, like when the Cardinals' one guy (his name escapes me now, the guy with the long hair..yeah, that guy!) ran across the field a great distance to score the touchdown that almost won them the game. I was still rooting for the Steelers then, but I have to give the Cardinals credit. Great game!

Plus, he used the ball as a prop on an end zone dance. Where was the penalty? Any other game, that touchdown would have been taken away...

and Yodaman you are thinking of Larry Fitzgerald

This isn't a thread about the Superbowl. Granted it is related to the Superbowl, but this is about an audio project I'm working on.
So, please guys, discuss the Superbowl calls and missed penalties and such in the "Superbowl picks" thread.
Only post in this thread if its about the "Steeler man" project.
