First off, are we allowed to even say "frak" here? It's not like it's an actual swear, but we all know what it means anyway...

Is there someplace to watch the series legally online? I know NBC hosts some of their shows, but I was wondering if scifi did the same thing? I've really wanted to watch the whole series, but never had the time to.

Buy the DVD's, they're totally worth it. I've lost count how many times I've watched trough them. The show carries all these small details and even easter eggs that adds to replayability. You can't catch them all on the first viewing anyway, that takes some serious high perception skills and I thought mine was the greatest.

I spotted something funny in tonight's episode. One of the timestamps said "1337 hours".

Then what's the difference?

The difference is...it isn't a swear.

By your logic saying "sugar" is just as bad as swearing.

No, not really, because we all know that "sugar" doesn't mean or stand for anything bad...

"sugar" in unofficial Norwegian means "sucker". The more you know

Anyway, we don't really *know* what frak means, though we can guess. For 99% of people, we might as well say gobbleberry. It would make just as much sense.

Er, does that word (in the title of the post) have the same meaning as that 'other' f-word?

Wait....what?

I don't think so. It sounds much too much like another word, meantioned by Yodaman Jer.

Correct.

The main problem is too many people are comfortable with either of these words, and many more. Like, yesterday I was playing America's Army and basically told a guy to shut up for using language. The admin then started typing nasty messages in the console. I called them a bunch of women (I do that to make a point sometimes), quit that server and joined another. I found out that the server I joined is a foul-language-free server, even abbreviations! Yes!

I congratulated the admin on this, who was online, told him I favorited the server (in my mind), and to keep up the good work. What happened? He laughed, not in an insulting way, but he said "that's a first", or something like that. I laughed too because he was right, but then it dawned on me how unfortunate it is that he was right.
