my taste in music isn't weird, its just so amazing your ears haven't quite adapted to it yet.

I hate melodic death metal. I like some death metal from before the "melodic" part got in there (i.e. Beneath the Remains era Sepultura), but mainly what I like is thrash. A lot of the most skilled musicians in Metal play/played thrash. One band I've been getting into more and more lately is Overkill. They've never been the best, but they've been around just as long as Metallica and they never changed their sound in any major way (like Metallica and Megadeth did). Maybe eventually they'll eventually usurp Megadeth as my 4th favorite band, 'cause right now they're my 5th favorite.

I'm surprised how many of us computer geeks listen to Metal.
