Someone modded FPS Creator using source that you wrote? Is that what you're saying? And then you accused them, but a moderator thought it was a false accusation and banned you?

I suppose you can email a moderator requesting further info regarding why you were banned, and explain the problem to him once more.

I was gonna say that but I thought it'd be rude.

Quote: "I'm not sure what's going on."

I believe that he thinks someone stole code from him and used it in an FPSC mod. But I could be totally off.

EDIT:

Ohhhhhh. Someone stole entity/segment scripts from you and used them?

How did he get them? I personally don't believe that someone with the skill to hack onto your computer would be interested in FPSC.

What do you mean by remodeling? Do you mean creating new models and using them in FPSC, or do you mean modding?

So someone hacked onto your computer, stole an FPSC entity script, then released a game 10 minutes later which used this script?

Ahhhh, I see. Yes, report them immediately.

Are you sure you didn't use an entity maker program. Or anything cos. The segment scripts are the exact some with the exception of the name of the segment and the texture used.

three things, way would anyone want to hack your computer for fpsc related stuff? Also your reason is you cant find the file on your PC, you could have misplaced it, you may have forgot to save it. Also and I'm not trying to be rude, you need to improve your English i cant understand a good forth of what your saying.

side note: Fpsc is allowed to be modded, there have been many mods of it, also i think the source code for FPSC if downloadable somewhere on the site.

@puppysss - Next time please keep everything in one topic in a single thread. You now have two "hacker" threads and they're both still receiving posts.

Can I lock the other one now to keep things simple?

Thanks

JK, that movie was full of fail.

It seems strange that someone would steal your work in FPSC by hacking into your PC. If they have that kind of skill, they could easily have written those scripts and done those models themselves.

Also, is it possible that they just wanted to get the same kind of effect in their game as you happen to have developed in your game? For example, maybe both games have enemies who blow up when you get near them. That's not unusual, but would require a script to be written for it.

It would be very helpful if you could post some links to show us this mod, and explain exactly which bit was stolen from you.

Hey, just because a modeller is inevitably also a hacker doesn't mean it goes the other way around too.

I confess, I was the one that hacked his computer, stole his scripts, put it in a game, and then proceeded to post this game on a forum that I know the victim also use. The motive? Hey, I'm Grandma, I don't need motives, I have alzheimers.

That would be a joke, puppysss. I think there has been a misunderstanding. Maybe nobody hacked your computer. Maybe someone did, but what can we do about it? Send an ambassador to the forum, and demand deportation of the hacker? Internet politics aren't what they once were. It's all anarchy now.

Except TGC of course, we have a president.

It's impossible to hack into a computer unless it's a server as far as I know.

I mean without access to the computer itself, like just over the internet.

I'm probably totally wrong though

Pretty much the only way to 100% guarantee not to be hacked is to remove your wireless card and unplug the RJ45 internet cable from your computer. You won't have internet, but you won't get hacked either.

That won't help if you have a hacker living in your home But uh, yes, that's right. Servers are no different than PCs, both can be hacked.

No way, who would have thought you were hacking yourself all along!?
I always have to watch out for my computer at LAN parties, because some of my friends have been known to install software on my computer when Im grabbing food, that allows them to reconnect later... Very annoying.

You need to write a program that allows you to lock your computer and display a shocker image if anyone messes with it without you entering the correct password for it. Also play a loud sound so you can hear it from another room. I'm sure with DBPro you could get some 3D zooming effects that could really freak your "friends" out.

Speaking of "dog eat dog" ...
(Warning: Scary image attached. I also do note condone or any way endorse making programs to protect your computer or prank your friends, you should rely on windows' default system log-in passwords for this)
