Asking here because I have an itching feeling it's from a video game. Got this riff into my head somehow and worked out how it went on guitar.

So does anyone know where this riff is from? I can't figure it out and a sweep around MSN didn't bring answers either.

Hey, it's worse when you get that brilliant idea, put a lot of effort into arranging it down and then only to realize, after maybe weeks of thinkering and work with it, that it actually wasn't your idea in the first place

Its not that specific of a riff though, its quite generic and i'm sure plenty of songs have this main rythm, or at least a variation of the chords.


I'll finish them whenever i can be bothered.

Probably. I'm not that good on guitar...

*edit* Just noticed it, it's very similar to the sustained chords part of Bare Grace Misery's intro. (Nightwish) Also one of the TOE (Cauterize before they were Cauterize) songs. Maybe Songs We Used to Sing but can't remember.*/edit*

The problem here is that you're asking on TGC and other programming forums. You'd probably get a better response if you searched on a tab archive's forum, like ultimate-guitar.com
