Underwater Script - Revolution: Made By Hockeykid and Red Eye

Extra:
- We use as decal the Helix Water. I found it around the forum.
- You can use the shader from www.dark-hazard.de.tc as well.
- Currently making our own water. Including: Shader, Texture, Animation.

- Pics: Soon.
- Download: Link to The Download [MediaFire]

Features:

- Every 10 seconds underwater your health will decrease by 10. You can change this to what you want, the time and the health.
- Every 10 seconds you will see bubbles comming up. Also here you can change the time.
- When you enter the "WaterZone". You will see all blue. Ambience is blue and fog will turn on and blue. Also a blue Water hud will come up. You can change the color to what you like. Also the WaterHud can be removed.
- If you are out of the "WaterZone" this all will turn auto. off.
- After you are out of the "WaterZone" a water drops of the screen. Click "TAB" to remove. [in-game]
- If you enter the "WaterZone" you will hear a SplashSound, and during underwater you will hear "underwater" sounds.
You can edit the sounds included too.
- X9 Water Phisix. You can trow a object in to the water and it will react like x10. You also can change settings in here. Look in script.
- New JumpHeight. So it makes more realistic.
- AirHud, here you can see how much air you got left, it is fully
animated.
- EyeHud - Animated, this will give you a sort of impression of slightly closing you eyes, with a eye-hud (fade in + fade out effect).

Recently Added Features:
- "DeScene"
--- Download: Link to The Download [MediaFire]
Thanks to Apple Slicer, he made it online:
Page One: http://forum.thegamecreators.com/xt/xt_apollo_pic.php?i=1777267
Page Two: http://forum.thegamecreators.com/xt/xt_apollo_pic.php?i=1777268

Features in W.I.P.:
- Realistic looking Waves. No need of Decals or Shaders. 40%
- Swimming effect. [not yet started]
- Lens Flare 70%
- Fake Underwater Camera Movement 30%
- "DeScene" Added
- Gore - You all know what this means. - 80%
- ...more to come...

Bugs:
- The Water Hud is over-riding the eyehuds on screen. There are users that like that and others dont, so we will upload a version of the waterhud.fpi, with the water hud removed. No worries you will still get the impression that you are underwater. Hockeykid and I are working on a better solution.

How to Install:

You need 7Zip to Install:

- First Extract Everything.
- Extract the Ambience Sound.7z to your audiobank.
- Extract the WaterScripts.7z to your scriptbank.
- Extract the WaterHuds.7z, and place the three folders in you gamecore-huds folder.
- There is a READ-ME file included with the download, in here it explains how to setup it in game.

If you have any questions, just ask!!!

- You can use it in Comercial and Non-Comercial Games.
- Our names have to be in your credits in the folowing form:

Quote: "WaterEnvironment Made by: Hockeykid and Red Eye"

Thanks,

Hockeykid and Red Eye

if it is fading in and out, then that is no a bug, if you are underwater you will see that fading in, and then fading out

It givs the user a better impression that he is underwater.

Yeah, I used it with the mod of course. Pretty cool, and it gave me an idea how we could add water physics.

Excellent stuff guys.

Very cool. I'm having a problem where once you exit the water the drops on the screen stay there forever.

I'll have a look at the .fpi and see wht it's not doing what it's supposed to on my system.

no, fpsc makes a object collision off right away when you use the float command

Would it be possiable to make a "script" that acts similar to the "float command" but isn't.Something like an overly complicated workaround? Perhaps "nogravity"or something?

you can animate it, but we are working on a solution with scripting,

We almost have this feature:

Quote: "- Realistic looking Waves. No need of Decals of Shaders."

We are working on others too...

Sneak Peek of Lens Flare in FPSC - Script is in Development but till now it works just fine. It is still in Beta. Beta Testing will be soon.

Note: This is pure Stock Engine. Nothing is made with a mod.

Extra Note: This effect is ofcourse for Outdoors. I will provide a outdoor screen soon. + This effect looks also very cool when you are underwater.

PS: Quality of Picture is a bit down, because of JPEG format. This is just a screen showing the LensFlare [with almost working script] in a test room.

PPS: The lens colors is fully editable.

HockeyKid and I are working hard to get everything done. Ideas [sort of request] is cool through email.

Comments and Critic is Welcome.

Stay Tuned,

Red Eye

Do the lens flares accurately move around the screen based upon the light source's location? (Like a real lens flare does)

If it does, and it's done using stock, I'd be very interested in seeing how that was accomplished.

yeah it fully adjusts and reacts to player/lights position, i watched alot of lens flare videos (sounds stupid) but i wanted to see better how it fully works... I am still working on little touches... But it reacts as a REAL lens flare

I think we will add it in v2 so comming soon, we are hard working on it

@ Red Eye & Apple Slicer: Im going to spare you the argument and say this. Red Eye: This is part and parcel of posting ideas on a forum. If its a good idea etc, then someone will use it elsewhere in a MOD etc. This is what helps the modding and game dev scene expand.

Apple Slicer: Im sure you can leave implementing such a feature to s4real. Most features etc have now been implemented into PB.

So everyone just calm down
