So... i was bored today, so i decides to gert a twitter account. It seems cool enough, but it would be way cooler to build up a community thats made of people i actually kinda know, since none of my good friends use twitter!

Anyways, people i've found so far: Alucard(seb94 right?), b0bbel, c0wbox, angstrey (his avatar is the same as what my sig used to be, so i added him), Seppuku arts, Venge (Maybe, it could just be a random person with the same name), Batvink, AndrewT(maybe), and Gil Galvanti.

If ya wanna, post your twitter ID here and add me. My username's Neurofuzz because someone took the name neurofuzzy

the above text is subject to the words "Probably", "Kinda", and "Not".*

I don't do Twitter/Facebook/Myspace, so it's not me. Seems a popular name though, I've had to use a different one when signing up for several sites.

I know all about twitter as far as the string "twitter" can tell me about twitter.
Oops, I left the stove on under my rock. Have to crawl back for a moment.

Nope, I'm not on Twitter either.

EDIT:

Actually it appears I am on Twitter...not sure how. But it's not under the name AndrewT, or anything related to that.

I tend to just use Facebook - I've not quite worked out what you can do, it just seems you send people messages and update your status, unless anybody can point me to other features?

I've added you know Neuro I've got TGC's account on there as well.

If there were any blog features on there, then that would be cool - as I have only like 2 people subscribed to my Live Journal.

I've been thinking of getting on twitter, but never really had any real reason to do so. I may get a twitter account later.

there are facebook apps, such as quizzes, games, puzzles, etc... you can create events and groups on facebook, you can chat with friends, you can upload photos, videos, and music, you can become a fan of certain things, there's a lot you can do.

You can follow the one that I use for game development - @MoltenByte. I found that following game developers and listing that you are in to game development brings more and more game developers to follow you, in turn. I just started out not too long ago on Twitter, so I can't say that I have a great following, but I'll follow everyone listed here.

Yeah, im not very involved in myspace or facebook or anything, but i figure that it might be fun to get involved in social networking of some sort, even if its just to see what things people i kinda know are doing.

I'm under the philosophy that only somewhat interesting people should have Twitter accounts. If you're going to Twitter about what you had for lunch and what time you're walking your dog, don't bother. Please.

twitter is, as far as im concerned totally pointless. It's a bit like standing in the street with a megaphone screaming whatever you want.
sure loads of people will hear you, but nobody really gives a

Not quite, it's a good combination of Messengers and Forums. Helps me keep track with updates from fellow developers, and helps me communicating with them, without having to post on the forums, or IM-ing them. Dunno, i find it quite useful.

I know people like that on facebook; x is taking a bath, x just went to the toilet, x just made some toast. Grr...hence I used to leave statuses like: 'Bryn is doing nothing of any particularly interest' or 'Bryn is updating his facebook status'.

These social networking sites seem to all be the same. I only use one because its easier to type to people than texting is. Other than that its all people saying "I'm cutting my tonails" or some other useless crap

Yes, I just did a Facebook purge yesterday and removed 30 "friends". If my own life is too boring to write little "quips" about what I've had for dinner, I certainly don't want to read about somebody else's.

The celebrity Twitterers are much worse. Why do people care that Ashton Kutcher is going to buy something from the grocery store? I mean REALLY. Why do people feel they need to celebrity worship about meaningless things? Do you really think Ashton gives a crap about how many cups of coffee YOU'VE had today?

It gives you the opportunity to get him Punk'd?

My friends on Facebook consist of people I know in the real world and a few from here. I believe people who leave constant updates like that have no real lives, like trolls, which is a shame really. Thankfully I've got nobody on FB that does those annoying updates anymore.

Oh and I've just updated my Twitter just so that everybody knows that I've just made a post here. (I hope everybody on my Twitter got it!)

People who follow celebrities have no lives of their own so they follow someone else's.

Sucks. No where else can you see so many noobs posting about the most insignificant things in their lives such as reinstalling an OS. No one cares.

Yes it is - seriously terrible photo though taken on my 18th whilst I was drunk, laughing and looking downwards.

Why do you ask - is the photo really that bad? (Which I know it is, I'm far from photogenic)

I have a twitter account, but I've forgotten what my username is, what email I used to sign up with, and I'm sure the password isn't anywhere in my brain any longer!!

I'll try and get in it though.

TBH in the pic you look quite a bit younger than I imagined you to be, although I'm not sure if that's what JoelJ was referring to.
