So Warehouse 13 is a new scifi channel original. I gave the pilot episode a watch today on hulu, check it out
http://www.hulu.com/warehouse-13
I enjoyed it, although I pretty much enjoy everything on the scifi channel just for how ridiculous it is. This show reminds me strongly of X-files or Special Unit 2. I enjoyed it enough that I wanted to see what you guys, my most specialist of friends, think of it.

I really enjoyed the Tin Man mini-series when it was on. I don't know though... I think the title is beyond generic and enters into cliche with the "13" part. I wasn't really interested in the story either. Maybe I'll give it a shot though. Maybe I'll like it after all

I recorded it, have it on my DVR but haven't gotten a chance to watch it.

It's like steam punk meets modern day Indiana Jones. I love this series!

I watched Warehouse 13 too and really like it. I just hope they don't cancel it after it gets good. It seems like they cancel only the good shows and keep wrestling and they dare to call wrestling sci-fi. I'm looking forward to new episodes of Eureka and the new Stargate. I'm really annoyed they changed the name to SyFy.

Lol!

Hmm...I wonder if this is 'the' warehouse from The Last Crusade? I think the main appeal this has for me is the wonder of what exactly is in the warehouse.

Can't wait for the next episode.

Edit: Yah, what's up with SyFy? They've been Sci-Fi for over ten years I believe...

...though(I'm probably jinxing the show) every time I get really interested in a show, something that really grabs me, it gets canceled...the last show I fell in love with was canceled(Fire Fly)...luckily there was a movie.

Don't feel bad... more of the shows I like get canceled by the Sci-Fi channel. Farscape, Stargate SG1, Stargate Atlantis, Roswell, 4400, Journeyman, Threshold, and Battlestar Galactica. I think all of these were canceled by them.

...there actually making another season of Stargate SG1(love this show as well). That show will never die, considering it made the Sci-Fi channel into what it is.

Battlestar Galactica is coming out with a new season as well.

I couldn't get into Farscape, it was just too weird for me.

Battlestar wasn't cancelled. The writers wanted it to end with 4 seasons so that it would be a 'clean' story with little filler episodes, and a planned ending wrapping most of the loose ends up.

I believe it's called Stargate Universe which will have little to do with SG-1.

You mean Caprica?

Stargate SG1 should have ended without the Ori. I the only show I liked in all that was the one that had nothing at all to do with anything ori. That show should have died a good deal before, the way the main characters never did.

And Atlantis was poorly done, as far as I'm concerned. Battlestar was great, and ended great. Caprica is a new show that takes place before hand.

I only saw a few episodes of Farscape, but that actually was interesting I thought. Didn't see enough of it to have a real opinion though.

Fox is the real criminal in cancelling good shows.

I liked Battlestar Galactica. I thought it ended though... they canceled it? Well, at least a new season is coming out. I enjoyed Star Trek Enterprise too. But I guess that didn't fair so well.

No, it was NOT canceled. And that's not a new season, it's a new series.

And Star Trek Enterprise failed more or less because it was all supposed to be prehistory of Star Trek, and instead they made it about these time wars or something that few wanted to watch. There were even times in the show where the crew expressed how much they wanted to get back to doing what they were supposed to be doing. I think that was something the writer put in to let people know if it wasn't canceled they'd go back to that. Also, as writers changed, the Vulcan girl became a sex symbol, and the personalities of characters was all over the place. I liked the show at first, and then it was ruined. I think that's how most people felt, seeing as it got a decent run before being canceled.

The new movie got changing the timeline right I think. More or less, they made a way so they could restart the series without repeating it, rather than mucking up the timeline so they could spend all their time trying to fix it.

I was ok with the Ori in Stargate SG1 since both shows ran on the same timeline and mixed with each other every once in a while. The new Stargate is suppose to be a group of people getting trapped aboard an ancient ship with absolutely no contact with or any way to get back to Earth. It's a Stargate version of Star Trek: Voyager.

The only thing I didn't like about Enterprise is they sometimes forgot the history of the Star Trek universe. On The Next Generation they had no idea who the Ferengi were so that was the first contact with the Ferengi. When they showed Ferengi on an Enterprise episode I was very annoyed that whole episode.

Caprica should be interesting but I almost don't want to see it... they ended Battlestar Galatica so badly I'm afraid to even watch one episode of Caprica (I probably will though). How could they abandon technology like that?... it's just nuts. Lets all go back to killing animals with clubs and die at 25 because we don't have any penicillin.

Farscape was really cool you guys should watch it... it only starts to get really weird in the last season.

Hmm, I wonder... awww, Farscape isn't on Hulu.

Oh well, I can find it.

I remember that episode!

I was able to let that slide (though it would be more believable if there was some reason they lost most of their tech), though I was really hoping that at the end in the present day we would find something like Adammas(sp) ship, not the fossil of the girl.

I was really looking forward to watch this.
I saw an advertisement on YouTube and on television
as well. It impressed me as a cross between the X Files
and combinations of the New Twilight Zone and the Friday the 13th series.
For the first 20 minutes or so, it looked really good and suspenseful and mysterious. But it just fizzled and dizzled out.
I did get a good long sleep in the chair watching it.
Now, its almost time to watch the Ghost Adventures on the Travel Channel. I don't really like the Ghost Hunters but I like the Ghost Adventures.

cheers =0)

That annoyed me even more... ok so we abandon technology only to relearn it and start the cycle all over again. It goes with that old saying "Those that forget the past are doomed to repeat it.". That last scene proves they were crazy for abandoning technology.

I watch Ghost Hunters too but the better one to watch is Paranormal State. On Ghost Hunters they say they're helping people by finding out if the place is haunted or not... so they do their investigation and say "Ok it's haunted... c-ya.". That's not my version of "helping people". On Paranormal State they actually do things to get rid of the ghosts... so if a family is being harassed by some spirits or demons they actually try and often do get rid of them.

Also the most annoying thing on Ghost Hunters is when they ask the question "Can you give us a sign of your presence?" and they freak out when something bangs. "What the hell was that?". If you didn't ask the question the ghost wouldn't be banging things around... besides you're Ghost Hunters... don't be such wusses.
