Well there are a lot of far-off movies that are announced, but nothing really yet is released. What are you waiting for?

Me:

Iron Man 2
District 9
I Am Legend 2
Transformers 3
2012: The Movie

There's an I Am Legend 2? Who's the main character? I guess that's the only I'm "waiting" for...

OH, and Toy Story 3. For nostalgic purposes is why I'd be seeing 3.

I Am Legend 2???? They already ruined the fantastic book with a half-baked re imagining, how can they sully the story further than they already did?

Well, I don't think they've announced anything about such movies, but I'd like to see follow ups to the recent Star Trek and Terminator movies. I'll see 2012 just for the laughs. Other than that I can't think of anything.

Movies nowadays suck for the most part, so I can't say that I get excited about them in the same way that I do about games.

Swordfight! My cheesy little first game!

I'm looking forward to the live action stuff Pixar is planning to do - Brad Bird is trying to get a film about the San Francisco earthquakes (1906) greenlit. Should be interesting if it comes to fruition, considering the amount of care and 'polish' Pixar applies to their films. If they can do the same with bog-standard live action, they're onto a winner (and could make some amazing films with their talent)

Definitely, I am a little skeptical as to whether or not it'll be as good, then again Pixar hasn't yet failed to deliver us good films. So I trust they'll pull of another sequel, despite how many years it has been since the original.

I'm looking forward to the new Harry Potter film (go on shun me, but it's a guilty pleasure), though it's not a far "far-off" film as it's released next week, but I thought I'd give it a mention. Look I'm even that sad, I've already got my cinema ticket.

There can only be one: TR2N

It's what I was put on this Earth to see. Unless they make 2061 and 3001 into a movie.

Seppuku: I pre-ordered my tickets for Harry Potter last night. My wife, her sister and I are going to the 12:01 showing...and we might dress up.

lazerus:
Seeing how it's by M.Night, it's going to be awesome:
Last Air Bender

edit: just watched District 9 trailer...insane! Though sadly, that's exactly how I think humans would deal with that sort of situation.

edit: () here's the wild things trailer...actually brought a tear to my eye:

Hey, wait a second. Nearly everyone here was a kid when Toy Story 1 came out. What's wrong with wanting to see the sequel from a childhood memory?

Completely agree with you, I can't wait for that movie to come out. Of all the movies posted here, that's one of the few I want to see the day it comes out.
