Some movies have epic quotes, whether they be moving touching, hilarious, or just because the movie has special meaning to you. Lets see how many we can get together, just keep it in the AUP

A few starters:

What kind of supreme being would condone such irony? - Burt Gummer, Tremors 3

And I go... in fear. - Edward Douglas, The Island of Dr Moreau

Permit me Mr.Douglas, to tell you something of the Devil as I've come to know him. The Devil is that element in human nature, that impels us to destroy and debase. - Dr Moreau, above movie

I don't know what this place would have been like if I hadn't found you here - B.J. Hunnicut, MASH Goodbye Farewell and Amen

Edit: The floor is now open to TV quotes!

Your mom goes to college - that other guy from Napoleon Dynamite

Remember those old guys? They made epic renders, I think one of them was called DaVinci, and all they used was MS Paint. Sometimes it's just skill....

Hmmm...

"Never compromise. Not even in the face of Armageddon." -Rorschach, from Watchmen

Basically...almost any quote from Rorschach is wicked...another example

[seeing a dog with its forehead sliced open on a Rorschach test] "A pretty butterfly."

Loved the novel, loved the movie.

More of a extreme diasgreement, or falseisfied insinuation.

Army Of Darkness!

Alright you Primitive Screwheads, listen up! You see this? This... is my boomstick! The twelve-gauge double-barreled Remington. S-Mart's top of the line. You can find this in the sporting goods department. That's right, this sweet baby was made in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Retails for about a hundred and nine, ninety five. It's got a walnut stock, cobalt blue steel, and a hair trigger. That's right. Shop smart. Shop S-Mart. (shouting) You got that?

Don't touch that please, your primitive intellect wouldn't understand alloys and compositions and things with... molecular structures.

Clatto Verata N... Necktie... Neckturn... Nickel... It's an "N" word, it's definitely an "N" word! Clatto... Verata... N-

Well they're a bit cliche, but they're cliche for a reason:

"I'll be back"
"Hasta la vista baby"
"Come with me if you want to live"
"Get out"
"I am your father"
"It's good to be king"

Considering that 4 out of those 6 are spoken by him, can you tell who my favorite actor is?

Swordfight! My cheesy little first game!

Daryl Hannah (Pris), Bladerunner:
Quote: "
Roy: We've got a lot in common.
Sebastian: What do you mean?
Roy: Similar problems.
Pris: Accelerated decrepitude.
"

And
Quote: "
Roy: There's only two of us now.
Pris: Then we're stupid and we'll die.
"

Dunno why but I always liked Pris, felt bad for her when she dies.

Just watch the film Network, the entire script is pretty much made up of awesome quotes.

Quote: "I don't have to tell you things are bad. Everybody knows things are bad. It's a depression. Everybody's out of work or scared of losing their job. The dollar buys a nickel's work, banks are going bust, shopkeepers keep a gun under the counter. Punks are running wild in the street and there's nobody anywhere who seems to know what to do, and there's no end to it. We know the air is unfit to breathe and our food is unfit to eat, and we sit watching our TV's while some local newscaster tells us that today we had fifteen homicides and sixty-three violent crimes, as if that's the way it's supposed to be. We know things are bad - worse than bad. They're crazy. It's like everything everywhere is going crazy, so we don't go out anymore. We sit in the house, and slowly the world we are living in is getting smaller, and all we say is, 'Please, at least leave us alone in our living rooms. Let me have my toaster and my TV and my steel-belted radials and I won't say anything. Just leave us alone.' Well, I'm not gonna leave you alone. I want you to get mad! I don't want you to protest. I don't want you to riot - I don't want you to write to your congressman because I wouldn't know what to tell you to write. I don't know what to do about the depression and the inflation and the Russians and the crime in the street. All I know is that first you've got to get mad."

I love The Princess Bride too. Wallace Shawn who played Vizzini (the short guy with Andre the Giant) is a great actor... his greatest role is as The Grand Nagus Zek on Star Trek.

The Princess Bride again:

Vizzini: I can't compete with you physically, and you're no match for my brains.
Man in Black: You're that smart?
Vizzini: Let me put it this way. Have you ever heard of Plato, Aristotle, Socrates?
Man in Black: Yes.
Vizzini: Morons.

Quote: "The path of the righteous man is beset on all sides by the iniquities of the selfish and the tyranny of evil men. Blessed is he, who in the name of charity and good will, shepherds the weak through the valley of darkness, for he is truly his brother's keeper and the finder of lost children. And I will strike down upon thee with great vengeance and furious anger those who would attempt to poison and destroy my brothers. And you will know my name is the Lord when I lay my vengeance upon thee. "

That looks like some DS-9?! I didn't realize that was him!

I just watched Mom and Dad save the world. Although, it is a small part for him, I still loled!

Yeah it's on Deep Space 9.

I generally recognize actors/actresses by their voice alone... so no amount of prosthetic makeup will hide them from me. My Dad watches a lot of documentaries and it always freaks him out when I can recognize who the narrator is without seeing them at all. You'd be surprised at how many former Star Trek actors do documentary narration.
